  1. Yup. I keep checking it to see if there's an update on this story, but instead have to read about Wanky engines.

Guys, fancy starting an off-topic thread? 9 off-topic posts shows there's sufficient interest.

Weeeel, ok, actually I have owned two Rx7's, the last one being a 1985 GSL SE. It came with the 13B engine for the first time, (80 cubic inches instead of 70). Those motors are absolutely bulletproof and turbinelike in performance. The only downside is they weren't as fuel efficient (not terrible) as some desired. I am part of the hijacking now, geeez. :black_eye:

  2. had to look "shill" up in a dictionary :D :

A shill is an associate of a person selling goods or services who pretends no association to the seller and assumes the air of an enthusiastic customer. The intention of the shill is, using crowd psychology, to encourage other potential customers unaware of the set-up to purchase said goods or services. Shills are often employed by confidence artists.

    Affirmative.

  3. I have lots of knowledge and experience, through approximately 160 hours of investigation, regarding the operations of the scam sites located in the USA (drop shipped from and delivered to the USA only). I am not talking about any companies in which the shipment is delivered directly from overseas. I was ripped off twice before finding this site and The Replica Collector/Replica Watches Guide. I will be happy to consult with anyone needing assistance, in reference to retribution (safe, free and legal). If you're a shill, do not contact me, I will quickly figure you out. I tried to help a member here a few months ago. Because I had to verify a little bit of information, like their name and scam experience, they must have become paranoid and avoided me. Maybe they believed buying reps was illegal. Regards. :victory:

  4. I am repeating my earlier post in a different way, I believe my intent wasn't made clear. I was ripped off twice before finding this site and the other two. I will be happy to consult with anyone needing assistance, in reference to retribution. 5. I am an expert on the scam sites. I have more knowledge than anyone here regarding the operations of the scam sites except the scammers themselves. 6. Don't know where to post this... maybe a mod can move it if its wrong! :p

Some may know of my obsession with fakes being posted on ebay!

I have followed this for some years, and must have reported thousands... to see most just go to end of auction... and another poor bastard get ripped ( and hate reps even more)

I don't think it does our (your) hobby much good, ( I don't collect any more)

Tonite I went to my ebay sniping programme to find I have succeded in having 5 blatant reps , taken off ebay. ( All finishing within the next 24 hours... and all that I had on report.... 100% hit rate.... 1st time over maybe 10%)

A change in policy at the 'bay??

Or has a squeaky wheel, finally got some oil??

    Or.....just a statistical glitch??

Will be interesting to see what happens in the next 24 hours as I have another 7 on report, which finish tomorrow.

Have made a lot of noise at ebay over the last years, with nary a response.

    Interesting..................

    Offshore

    Interesting.

  7. That is very interesting. He called it a quartjewel which sounded weird to me. But the quartz watch also has 23 jewels to run the goodies and the last year they sold new was 2003 (stock ran out from last produced run in 2001 and only 25,000 exist).

  8. I met this older gentleman at a car show yesterday and asked him what kind of watch he was wearing. He told me a Rolex quartz. I didn't know there was such a model like that. He took the watch off and handed it to me. It was all 18kt gold and very nice. He said it cost him 9500.00 and that is was the last model available. I then asked him if it was an automatic because I didn't know any better. He said yes. That is pretty funny, an automatic quartz Rolex. :black_eye:

  9. ... or something like that...

I suspect the real reason has to do with stricter "know your customer" guildlines being imposed on financial institutions as a result of more stringent applications of the Patriot Act, and concerns over money laundering. While Paypal and the like are technically not regulated banks, they use banks to settle their financial transactions, and as such are probably under a lot of pressure from the banks that service them to adhere to sticter standards on the opening of new accounts, especially merchant accounts. Banks are far more diligent about this stuff now, and I suspect they are pushing this discipline down to their paypal-like clients as a result of pressure being put on them by US regulators. I do not know this is the reason for sure, but I am kinda in this industry and I do know this is a big deal for banks to deal with.

What is a big deal for banks to deal with?

  10. I got two gold watchbands from a dealer here for my scam Subs. The problem is that the pin won't line up, the hole in the case is to far forward towards the case. The hole can barely be seen. The dealer recommend I bend the pins but I don't think that will work because only about half of the hole is visible. I thought about using a dremmel and move the shaft hole in the band forward as to line up. The problem is that I believe I will break bits. Does anyone know where I can get a extra hard bit to move an already drilled shaft sideways? Thanks.
