Excellent comparo! Ashford is decent place to dc. Did it come w/ serial # and everything? Possibly grey market. I got my mother's Omega few years ago from Ashford. Anyhow, I'm very curious to see TTK's 5th generation PO( I don't know Trusty's new PO is same as TTK's) vs. Gen comparo. If TTK's PO can be water proof and short minute hand is corrected as TTK stated along w/ gen sapphire and AR coating, it will be tough to beat 5th gen.

Ken. I think RWG1 Offtopic covered about rep sunglasses before. It boiled down to the point of safety issue. Are those rep sunglasses come with true UV blockers? Are they safe for eyes? In China, replica vaccines were given to public leading to multiple death. Timepiece is one thing but about eyes? (Of course, if you can get proper UV lenses and fitted to the rep frame, maybe...). Regardless, there are certain invisible elements from materials (ie. aniline dye from clothes- one from china) can cause cancer and more. Just my 2cc.

It looks RWG1 all over again! Who was that pilot guy? ANyway, I had to return my order for it was missing seconfd hand, and I spent $20.00 for packaging and postage etc. out of my pocket. I was not happy about it after I waited about near two weeks. However, dealer also has to spend similar amount of $ to send new one back to me, so we both lost some. It is not unusual to wait for rep to arrive @ your doorstep. In the past, many people ranted about same issue but in the end, most cases were resolved. There are few things that you may not be happy but if it was not a serious issue, I think you should move on to resolve issue rather than end up fighting with other members. Other members should be little more emphatizing with newbies with ordering issue rather than been there ,done that attitute. I hope you will get issue resolved soon. Again, nobody likes to waste money, but it is given risk that I leared to take and play. Just my 2cc

It just occured to me that ANdrew's Breuguet model w/ faux Tourby is almost identical! If you look at Andrew's $88 special deal photo, you will notice same layout for day and date as well as tourby second hand with blue ribbon(?).
