@Teejay Gotcha. @Freddy333 I have a dial similar to that, but doesn't have the dash above the 6 o'clock marker. what is the diameter of the dial? I test fitted the dial in the 5514 case and the case's rehaut is a shade over .5mm smaller than the dial. Do you know whose case(other than modifying this case myself) has the correct opening? E

Mam that sucks. I'm fighting three refunds right now with sellers claiming they never receive the items back after I returned them for sending me completely different or non-working items. What sucks is that in order for both fleabay and fudgepal to operate, they are not doing or performing the correct customer service. Sucks to live in a litigious society where a company would rather give you the run around until you get tired than actually provide the service you signed an agreement for.

Looking good. I am working on something similar for daily wear. Currently working on something like the faded insert one. How's the fit for both and what mods have been done to the case? E

One quick question, does anyone know if the FEF 350 is similar to the 390 caliber? If so, this may be another and cheaper alternative. E

WOW. I managed to source some service t-19 but the lack of dome sort of works for me on these older watches. I would love to get one of these cases for an early sub project. It is soooo funny how our taste changes and evolves in watches as you learn a little bit. 390 base plates go for really cheap. How how hard to source, or correctly mate are these parts? Thanks for the input and sharing your project pictures. E

You snooze, you loose. Glad to hear you went ahead with the project. I am seriously thinking about the rose dial I have and not mess up the build and just go for an early sub build instead of the 5514 hybrid thingy. How did the case from Josh work out? Which one did you end up buying? E

I ordered a set of their eta aged/cream hands for the 2783 movements and will use the rose submariner dial with that combo on the 5514 slimmed down case I have. I really like that tudor you have there. What you know need is one of the tropic 17 crystals I have E

On that note, I wonder how the 1030 hands would fit on the 390 movement. I can always just assemble this watch with the 2783/4 movement and use it as is for now and slowly collect the parts for the 390. Not for anybody else but for me. E

Yup!. There was a movement on fleabay that I was watching and it disapeared. The dial I have would be lovely with the case I'm working on and a gen movement and hands for authenticity. This is for that 5514/Tudor hybrid fantasy watch. I was looking at Omega movements Caliber 360 but I am pretty sure that these are not compatible. E

I want to know if with all of awesome knowledge existing here about rolex and Tudor gens and replicas, if there is a movement that can be used as the 390 or similar to the 390 for an early Tudor sub project. Thanks in advanced. E

Dude! You have no idea. lol Actually, I bet you do. I'm finishing the 1665 from spares I have that I may sell. Working on the 5514 and the 5512(one I plan on having as a daily wearer, hence the need for gasket). Waiting for parts to finish the 16610 PVD domed crystal aged vintageized project/fantasy watch, that I also may sell. Waiting on parts to finish the 5513 Tudor Sub Precomex hybrid to wear daily. The DSSD vintage/ized a la PBDads is done and may put it for sale on here. The sapphire crystal sub CGless is done as well, and waiting on a decent bracelet, but that I may also sell. The rivet bracelet is going to be for the 5512 daily wearer. Everything else has their 9135/0 bracelets or leather/nylon NATO. I don't think I will do this whole five project things all at once again, but parts come up and these images start taking shape. You know what I mean. E
