  1. Can anyone help me identify this movement? I tried to look for any signage and nothing. Perhaps on the dial side, but for now I prefer not to take it off. I cleaned the case and ordered the pushers. What type of clamps and screws would be usable to secure the movement? E
  2. Is the crown tube pushed in on that mid case Flex? E
  3. @Ubi: Please do. Always willing to trade if possible. @Nanuq: Dude, you are not joking. Though, I am sure the lawn would stop growing from mowing it so often. BTW, got the rivet parts. YOU ROCK!!! I put the bracelet together. Looks like a mongo bastid, but works and looks "aged" I cannot thank you enough. E
  4. Why is it that I cannot see Bazz's post on keyless works? I need a good tutorial for this, as the 2836-2 Asian clone movement is doing the same thing. I also may have the same issue on the 2846 movement after taking the stem out in the date change position. Thanks in advance. E
  5. Does anyone know how to fix a failing date jump in a 2783? E
  6. Aha! So you're the one! Haha. I was eyeing that auction. Cannot beat the deal. Good one for sure. E
  7. Ubi, if and when you decide that you have too many of those 700 crowns and tubes please let me know. I have a gen 703 crown and tube that I wanted To use in a sub build but now I find myself wanting to go to a 700 for a more vintage look. Then there's the 6263.... Awesome parts. This project will be something. Keep sharing. E
  8. That is exactly what I'm getting next week. I have similar mods in the works for it. I wanted to get a 700 crown and tube for it though. Any thoughts? Good job on the CGs. E
  9. What? No, seriously? I'm getting a pack if it's true. The eopxy trick only last so long. I use the watch daily, and it took one session of jarring the server to align it to dislodge the eopxy-feet combination apart. E
  10. Nasty nasty. Those things are contagious and should be locked away forever in my basement. E
  11. This movement has a bad ETA seal stamp on it and reads 2836-2. When turning the crown 360 degrees it moves 40 minutes. Definitely same color and layout as the one posted here. The watch was supposedly sourced from watch king originally. E
  12. Do you have the name or model number? I would be more than willing to give it a try. E
  13. Is the crown tube pressed in or drilled in? I am curious about this case as well. E
  14. I received one of these in a 1680i bought recently from a member. The thing was barely used. The movement stopped working and I may either rebuild it, or use it to rebuild a 2783. Can anyone confirm that the parts are interchangeable with swiss? Is there an alternative to rebuilding these? E
  15. Just ordered last night the 1680.We shall see how it works out. E
  16. Someone posted that the Yuki yellow hands can be bleached to get the "eggy" white color. Just a thought. E
  17. Speaking of Rolex big and small sizes(no pun please) Does anyone have a triplock, AKA 5 gasket tube tap they can sell or lend me? I missed my buy one the one Jdavis was selling due to my bad copy paste. I need to tap a daytona case and a 5512 project case. Many thanks in advance. E
  18. I wanted to know if anyone has clamps and screws for these watches to sell. I will also need Information regarding what type of pusher to use with this case to keep the build as "accurate" as possible. Does the crown look alright, or should I stick the gen 703 and tube in there? Does anyone have any "fake" 702 crowns or tubes to sell? E
  19. Would be nice and should be a great daily wearer when complete. E
  20. AWESOME!! Still to this day one of my favorite movies. E
  21. Looks very good. I have some of those hands(for the priced shipped you really cannot beat the deal) and still waiting for them. These hands are meant for the rose sub, but may go in the 5512. How is the fit of the hands to the movement? E
  22. Ok pictures of the movement attached. I was a little disappointed when I took the crown tube out. It's pressed in. The crown however, looks like a 702. Odd. I pressed it back in and installed everything how I found it. I still need a gasket. Is it ok to use say a 703 crown and tube like Ken's or Asian like that? what would be the "ideal" crown? Does anyone have any clue as to whose case this can be? E
  23. HAHAHA. Way, doesn't LHOOQ have something to say about this last shot? E
