Gotcha. The one I recently sourced is listed as the lemania clone, but the subdials are all functional. I guess that's where my confusion lays in. E

Looks good. I actually build something like this using a similar combination, but didn't age it. I think I will now 1/2mm will not set the crown deep enough. You can always get a 700 crown and it will "lower" as it is narrower. E

The 700 (from what I have seen on pictures) will be narrow like that one, but will have the crimped back not machined finished. E

Well, If it takes a Gen dial with no modifications, then this will solve the issue of fitting a movement and losing feet ETC. I would love to see how the hands fit, and how the dial fits and the overall height of all of these parts combined. E

Kept reading about different suppliers freezing the 6 o'clock or locking it. What dials are compatible with the Lemania/a7750 copy? E

@LHOOQ I think the brushed edge definitely sets it apart. After you pointed that out, it's like DUH! @JMB, What is the preferred beveled angle bit? E

I think Silix has a nice looking dial. Maybe they will sell it separate. E

Does anyone have a used dial for sale? I am not worried about the accuracy at this point. I managed to win one of those asian 7750 movements on fleaBay and I need to get dials and hands to go in one of the cases I got from Chiman. Just to test out. BTW, the movement I got seems to have the three working subdials. E

Looks really good Akira. Hey, if you are not planning on using the old tube and crown, I will buy those from you for a project. Unfortunately I have not been able to get the pusher install as I got dicked with a set of pushers. The watch is coming out awesome. Don't forget to brush finish the edge of the bezel as per LHOOQ's thread. E

I have two gen crowns, one with the "skinny" coronet and the other the "fat" coronet. Both have the crimp on the back side. Does anyone have a dial like this one for trade or sale? E

I'm curious about the curvature. I have noticed some ETA hands for the Submariner that have a very slight convex to them(very very slight) but thought it was due to the movement (for ease of distinction) E

Can the minute hand just be partly rolled over a toothpick to help with this convex effect? E

As previously reported, the Yuki yellow hands are too orange. I will try the iodine trick and see if they turn a cream color. E

How much was the case thinned? I may just build one of these as a daily wearer and forget about all of the other projects. E
