Ubi, The thing that I LOVE the most out of these two builds, is how understated they are. Simple, functional and functionally gorgeous watches. These are two of my favorite watches and anyone should be happy to just have these two(well, almost everyone except for LHOOQ ) and perhaps a Snowflake As far as patina goes, well these two are embarking into a glorious path as it stands,so no doubt they will look better and better(if that is possible) as time goes by. I have a few casebacks at home I can take pictures of see if they are what you need. I know you probably have parts, but If you could use one...The inside stamping may be something else, but I will definitely let you know and send pics. E

I am about to just order a Silix case and call it good. I can always reshape it to fit if its too big. The dial issue, well, that is another story. E

On the topic of lume, does anyone have a picture of the correct "glow" of a SD dial after 30 years? night and day shots. I have searched the web and came up with nothing that wasn't aftermarket, or day shots only. E

Cool. Imperfections sum up to a perfect whole. I will use the hands on yours (being Gen) as a sample of what to get. If anyone is selling hands, let me know E

That is what I keep seeing. Makes sense. This may also explain the funky date magnification when using gen crystals in some cases. E

I found one case from Trevor that I had an issue with the rehaut placement. It was fine from 12 through 9 but from 10 though 11 it was off a tiny bit. Had to sand down using a disc to "even it" out. E

I have a few of these acquired through eBay and I definitely like them. I recently acquired an ETA 2824-1 and Plan on building a nice Sub with it I definitely like this! What is the correct model number for the arrow dial? I am definitely digging this dial as it reminds me of a Seamaster on steroids! Does anyone know where to source? Correct hands for it? Looks a whole lot better. I wonder if the crystal you had on there before was the 127 for a 1680 sub. I have a few of those floating around, but no 125s to compare. I think i will definitely build one of these. E
