Thanks Freddy. I also found that sleazeball on fleBay was a set in silver, which may be wrong, or not. I may just test a set against the seconds pin from a 2846 ETA to see if they fit.
Does anyone know how shallow/deep the rehaut should be on these watches?

naughty naughty. I was looking at the pictures that had the same counter material and could not tell whether it was photoshop on the Ubi pic or Nanuq.
HAHA.
Looks great though

Good to know.
JMB, I may have a bezel for a noob/guardless project. I trimmed almost 1.5mm around the case, and just need the bezel to look the part. You can practice on that if you'd like and take your measurements. Seems to be the standard one.

Bumping a really old topic. I am looking at different early Subs, both Rolex and Tudor for a project. I find a comment by Freddy here on an A260 movement. Who produced these? Is it the same as the Manual 2424? Just curious.
Thanks

Geez. Sorry to hear about the bad experiences. How is the update of the watch? I would just buy one of Ofrei's t-19 for %8.95. The KS ones are clearer and have a slight dome, much like the service units.
I did a comparison in the homage forum for the 6538 project.

Hmmm, sucks. The movement other than that has been a work horse. Only had it for a year in October. Is there a spot on the movement I should be looking at?

I wanted to know if someone can shed some light into this issue. I had a 5517 project that suddenly spun out of reserve while it was sitting in the box. I actually know this because I had just taken it off after a "walking normally charge". The rotor spun off as if it was a dynamo and the then watch stopped. It holds a manual charge and you can move the rotor to "power it up" but after about three to four minutes it will spin off again. This bugs me because this one watch was working beautifully and kept great time(only gaining two minutes a week on average)
Any clues? I know DG movements are cheap, but if I can fix this one, I will be a better man.
Thanks in advance

HAHA tease for sure, but I kinda like it
I have to say Ubi, this definitely gives me something to shoot for. The two watches that I want to end up with and keep as my main units are both the 5513 Comex and the 1665 GW. These two you have made and shown recently are true amazingly good looking and practical(albeit, not for the wallet) watches.
