  1. It definitely helps to have that lower profile crown. You can also shave the area where the crown rests(you'll have to remove the crown tube for this) but it works wonders and you can control it a bit more.
  2. Looks really good. Enjoy it and wear it well. E
  3. I'm beginning to be too predictable, even to myself. E
  4. Ditto. You can get a great foundation, to then modify to your taste and liking. E
  5. There was one on ebay that sold for like 198 dollars not too long ago. E
  6. Those movements are bullet proof. Some people mess up the keyless in them. What I meant to say is that the Tudor case I have looks the same was yours. E
  7. I say, sell the parts you have and with the 500 lbs buy either the phong, or search for a cheap gen head only. Phong would be an ok choice and you'll have money left. I would be willing to buy the 9401 dial and hands off ya. The 2783/3 and 2824 movements do not share the same dial feet location. You can use the movement, but you'll be biased almost two minutes off.
  8. Ken at raffles-time has them for the auto movements(.90 stem) as well as athaya from the homage forums. E
  9. Is there really a crystal on that thing? Looking good E
  10. Not sure brother. I say without measuring it it looks like mine. Though my case came with a 700 aftermarket crown. Is it thick? BTW, If anyone is interested, I'm posting the poljot for sale later today. E
  11. No changes for me yet Liking this watch the more I wear it. Justin, my black faced '32 says hi E
  12. Nice very nice. Next time I'm in Italy I will let you guys know. I have a sister who lives in Rome. E
  13. Damn Ascii, give us folks on the "other time zone" time to enjoy Sunday No changes all weekend. 7032 all weekend long.
  14. No offense, but that gold poljot deserves to be taken apart. lol I know DW had different case backs for the cases. I recently bought a 7750 DW case missing a bezel and the case back is much deeper(taller) than the other 7750 case I have from him. E
  15. Phone died as I was typing my morning post. 7032 on the wrist still. E
  16. Updated pictures up. E
  17. Part of me just wants to sell this one as is, instead of taking it apart. Such a nice watch.
  18. All you need now is a Nice Partagas and an Asthma attack(not really on the asthma attack) E
  19. What else for Friday? The 7032 on a 93150 this time with the 580 end links. I brushed the bracelet to make sure it's all fine and even. E
  20. You can always try Ofrei. E
  21. I have a few sets of 1665 springbars and I may give those a try. The ones from DW are not bad though, but as I go updating little things here and there it'll be nice to get as much as possible correct. E
  22. Speaking of parts, who has the best springbars for the Monte Carlo?
  23. May try a dry run this weekend but dot have extra dials and hands to play with. E
