It definitely helps to have that lower profile crown. You can also shave the area where the crown rests(you'll have to remove the crown tube for this) but it works wonders and you can control it a bit more.
Those movements are bullet proof. Some people mess up the keyless in them. What I meant to say is that the Tudor case I have looks the same was yours.

I say, sell the parts you have and with the 500 lbs buy either the phong, or search for a cheap gen head only. Phong would be an ok choice and you'll have money left. I would be willing to buy the 9401 dial and hands off ya.
The 2783/3 and 2824 movements do not share the same dial feet location. You can use the movement, but you'll be biased almost two minutes off.
Not sure brother. I say without measuring it it looks like mine. Though my case came with a 700 aftermarket crown. Is it thick?
BTW, If anyone is interested, I'm posting the poljot for sale later today.

No offense, but that gold poljot deserves to be taken apart. lol I know DW had different case backs for the cases. I recently bought a 7750 DW case missing a bezel and the case back is much deeper(taller) than the other 7750 case I have from him.

I have a few sets of 1665 springbars and I may give those a try. The ones from DW are not bad though, but as I go updating little things here and there it'll be nice to get as much as possible correct.
