If they are anything like the other subs the dial/hands won't fit eta, I'd get the better movement instead for modding later
-
If they are going to do a blue strap I'm in as long as they get the shade right
-
I for one like it but do we think it should be on the list guys? Dial looks good but it's missing the stone @ 7 and that's an obvious tell isn't it?
-
Glad to see they are doing a 42 LMPO, can't wait for that and the 42 CUPO

with cape cod or similar, after he noticed some fading on some of the numbers, which he wiped and they came off more, he then tried to clean it and it was uneven, so he evened it up. I don't know for sure how hard he went at it. I think I'll ask a dealer for a replacement insert to see just how durable these numbers are.
That sounds like the culprit mate, Cape cod can take Ar off too can't it? That sounds like a bloody good idea with the insert, I keep seeing different pics of the bezel around the forums, some seem gen like in that they look grey and 'sealed' if that's the right adjective! Whilst some appear to be black and have a very dry texture/look to them, would be good to see if we could source a couple from td's to compare the finish too, I'll gladly chip in for one if we need to, I'm desperate to order one of these

I was very near to commenting on this thread last night Arkon but I stopped myself, suffice to say that I agree with the guys above and you should let this go mate

Some pics by ianm yesterday which show the extent of the problem on the black bezel inserts, pretty shocking tbh, I expected better:
Really surprised at how bad these bezel inserts are fading. When originally bought the reps this sort of thing wasn't apparent on a new watch, then in the following weeks there were some pics on the forums showing pearl triangle fade etc, nothing extreme but still noticeable....These pics really show how extreme it can get. I'm pretty disappointed at just how poor that rep paint is. These seriously need a correction. The blue and orange don't seem to be having the same issues as the black.
Thanks for sharing these pics cougar, indeed that fading on a piece that costs so much to buy is pretty piss poor in my opinion. He did say he had tried to clean the bezel up a bit I just wonder what he used? Whatever it was it seems to have sped the process of fading considerably!
I wonder if we will see an insert fs seperately for these pieces in the near future
at a bloody good discount I hope too ! Gotta feel for the guys who have bought these already
I've been holding back on one of these for the Asian movement version, whenever that comes, but with this bezel issue may hold off even longer. If they can get the blue and orange metal inserts right I'm sure they will get the Black Ceramic right too
with V2 I hope....

Awesome mate
great job, thanks for sharing !

I really hope this gets off the ground mark, it's a great idea and I'm sure you will have lots of people using it too

Congratulations on getting this one, looks stunning in your pics mate
Enjoy it !
I've found that Titanium feels really flimsy and cheap compared to SS when you first put it on, give it a few hours though and you forget that your wearing it
it has some great properties and is a fantastic material for watches !

If I were buying I'd have to go Asian Clone, if it's a keeper with a service it's as good as Swiss
