Are they Aluminium mate ? If so do you know the thickness ?

Just discussing this via pm with a very knowledgeable member and although the insert appears to be ceramic it must have a painted surface otherwise it would not fade or scratch like it is, ssteel you don't remember where you saw the cracked inserts by any chance do you? We need some pics of these either damaged or faded scratched etc to make an informed opinion tbh, I for one have not had the pleasure of owning one as yet.......but it's on my list PICS ANYONE

From what I can gather the inserts are ceramic, at least they look ceramic ie quite thick but hey who knows. Seems to be an issue with the paint they have used to coat them though as it is rubbing off very quickly........... let's see if anyone can post some pics of the inserts they have with the fading

I stand corrected that looks pretty much ceramic to me mate I thought I'd seen one of the orange insert pieces stripped and it looked aluminium, must be going mad

I've got a few pieces that are going up for sale soon, I'll gladly donate the proceeds to the cause when sold

Looks a decent piece mate but not sure if it should be in Super Rep territory ? Anyone else have a view on it ? @ Idegeneve - correct insert isn't ceramic but I've no doubt they will fix that later on, tbh I'd be more concerned about the paint coming off it ! Apparently the 45 now comes without the 'Liquid metal' on the case back and the Ar has been addressed too, they are heading in the right direction
