Thanks for the write up. I recently read it on another forum. I have decided that all of my "keeper" reps will get serviced, lumed, and mods to the best possible standards. I'm still a noobie. but I send all of my to the mod gods to do their magic. I'm yet to be disappointed.

I'm already there thats my point. Already Pbdad mod my DSSD including pearl change. Just got a gen bezel for my BK LM. Trying to source a gen bezel for my BK YM (anyone got ny idea where I can find one). I already have a The Zigmeister mod 001. I'm on the hunt for a blue snowflake tudor, which I think I'm better off going gen on that one. I let you add up my costs for far. Seriously if anyone can help me source a gen YM bezel, PM me.

So I'm a newbie/noobie. I got my first high quality rep as a bonus from a gen sale. I was amazed about the quality of the rep so I sought more out. I did a ton of research and made what I think very smart buys. Now here is the issue. The reps are so good the would pass around 99.9% of the people Im around but..... I notice the small stuff. Lume isnt right, CG isnt right, case is .0001mm off, etc. So I send stuff out to the mod gods (Pbdad, Vac, The Zigmeister, etc) then I'm more blown away with their work. But I see the smallest tell from a gen. Something that is impossible for a modded to fix. Knowing the fact the a rep would never be 100% gen (cause its a REP !!!). So now I'm starting to franken my fav watches. But now my cost on some of my watches cost are getting close to gen. WTF !!! Its not that I cant afford a gen but now I focusing on modding and franken watches that no one except a WIS would notice and only if with a loop. Someone should have facebooked, tweeted, texted, pm, or emailed me a warning.

Waayyy too much for that watch. you can pick up a mint used monster all day long for $100-125 with a bracelet.

A paypal claim is never an option for me. The possible damaging fallout for the rep community is to great for me to make a claim for this type of problem. It not like he didnt actually delivered watch.

UPDATE The TD finally made good on his promises. So here is the very condensed version 1) received 2 damage watches 2) Contacted the TD asap with pics 3) TD requested that I send the watch back to him. He would pay for shipping both ways 4) I asked if it was ok to get it fixed in the CONUS. since the cost would be about the same. He agreed 5) Pbdad fixed one of the watches. Thanks PBDAD !!! 6) The other watch still isnt repaired the TD asked if he could refund me the xxx amount for the watch. 7)I stated it maybe best for both of us if he just get me credit towards a future purchase. He agreed, 8 ) I chose to purchase softgoods rather than a watch, This where the issues arose. Communication just fell apart. It took several days to weeks for the TD to respond 9) about 40 emails and almost 2 months after I order the softgoods. Still no confirmation that he even got my order. 10) I was asked repeatedly what did I want to order and what was the orignal agreement So yesterday not only did I get the softgoods but I also got the parts that was thought to fixed the still broken watch. So 3 months later dealer came thru and then some. I just needed patience

next update. Dealer gave me a discount on some soft goods. I paid for shipping. Hopefully my issues will be resolved by next week (5-7 days)
