No comp with the sinn and the breitling rubber. I have gen both. I never wore my brietling rubber EVER. But I had the hershey strap. I have both the black and the white sinn rubber. its a no lint , very soft feel, with that lovely vanilla smell.

I just PM'd you some info. Yea, the sinn clasps are a work of art. They are a lot more than the strap.

I dont have the rep strap. But I have 3 OEM rubber straps. I think I got them all less than $75 each. Of course the best rubber strap out there is Isofrane, bar none. The OEM sinn rubber is very comfortable There is a seller on WUS that sells OEM sinn straps at a really great price. Also I think I have a OEM rubber Sinn that'll fit a 7" wrist around somewhere I would let go around $50 plus shipping. But I have to FIND it !!!!

I've been debating on getting a corrino built by rolex addict. I'm getting a gen GMTIIc in a couple of months so money maybe very tight.

I'm guess Im in the minority by saying. If you havent worn a watch for 6 month trade it/ sell it. I think you should make sure a watch is a long term keeper before you franken it.

I listen to the guys over at TRF. I only buy my watches from AD at full retail and only in state so I can pay the sales taxes. Anything else would dishonested. Naw , just kidding. I get my gen usually off the gen forums sales sections from trusted sellers (never ebay). I only buy my reps here either the sales forum or trusted dealer.

Darn, one of my local AD was losing his rolex AD dealership. So he was selling anything he had in stock with last years prices plus 20% off in june. I should have posted this on the boards. But, didnt want him to get in trouble with Rolex. We I live is kind of rural and rolex moves very slow here andwe have another Rolex AD that give out good non advertised deals. Of course this is the worst time of year to buy anything. But around basel him always calls to tell what specials he is running. If anyone is serious drop me a line in the early part of next year.

I say restore it with the same bezel, dials, and hands if possbile. It'll be a great conversation starter and remind you all have to be grateful for. Plus itll be pretty bad ass looking
