Why do some of you insist on spending the same amount on a Franken that the gen would cost, I can't understand. If I wanted this watch I would buy it.

Put gen t21, had to dremel the bezel a bit but it took 5 mins. Perfect fit. Better clarity. If anyone wants to add only the t21 and nothing else this is the result, I put the bracelet it came with back on to show what it looks like with only the one mod.

I was dissapointed to hear what he did to others but I had placed an order with him before I found that out. It was a gold plated 6263 which came and I had no problem with him. I communicate with him by email and a lot of very broken engrish, lol, but he's been solid with me.

I know, thanks Freddy, I'm trying to help everyone who has been asking lately which cartel version to buy and what mods they can do. The answer is get one of these,, way better practically the same price and can actually accept mods. I love love having these as beaters when I don't want to wear my 727 version. Here are some pics of it untouched, ill put the gen crystal and folded or riveted bracelet, I have both, and take more shots of it after that..

Just got it in and its really nice, I'd say only mods needed is a gen crystal, gen bracelet and gen crown and tube. I'm going to send it off to spin for a service but ill take pics of it first to show you guys. The dial is great and overall seems like a huge cut above the cartel versions for a tiny bit more money. Really worth it.

I can put the green one back in I just wanted to try it out with a spare I had, I like experimenting.

There is a very long story concerning dw which you can read up on. In short he was the main source of above average a7750 dials cases and complete watches.. they were priced well and if sent to spinmaster in singapore, for servicing, will last a very long time. He kind of ran off owing people some parts and money and I'm not sure if he has taken any steps to rectify any of that yet but he is still taking orders. He has sent me and a few others watches recently so I wouldn't be too concerned about getting what you order. I will stand by him for now, seems like he's getting back on his feet and honestly there isn't any other source for this stuff he was and is it.. the dial on the a7750 that you provided a link for, is not good at all. Dw's dials are far far better.

Or get one from dw, he sells the 7750 one but better quality dial wise. In the 300$ range. He has been MIA for a while but has been slowly getting back on his feet. Just sent me 2 of them

Well, I emailed the guy selling it an offer last night and haven't heard back anything. Now there's a pretty cool Daytona dial that someone put up for a very reasonable price, its not one of the nos ones or a perfect one, its aged for some reason but I think it adds to the charm I made an offer, we'll see.

It's the Gen dial for me!! Wow wow, that is a looker. I'm head over heals in love with these old daytonas, any variation, they are all gorgeous.

Thinking about buying this gen set,, really tempted. I asked phong and he said 650$ for a case set all I would need is an eta mvmt which after doing some research looks fairly cheap and easy to get. Have phong put it all together. Maybe ill sleep on it...
