Anyone want to comment or know the difference between the Asian movement in the AP Diver and the Swiss Sellita moveement? Is the Swiss that much more reliable and accurate or are they relatively the same? Just wanted to hear from others who might know more regarding the differences.

Actually the Survivor and Diver strap specs are EXACTLY the same. 28mm at the watch end and 24mm at the buckle end. When I have some time I will do a comparison of a GEN Survivor hornback with an AP Bands hornback to show the difference.

Who makes the best and most accurate 40B T dial (dial ONLY) and how accurate is it to gen? Is a Jacob CB the best option or is there something else comparable or better?

hey Pete, OP does NOT offer any warranties on the ceramic. What is worse is the fact that you have to pay $3000 for a new case if something like the pictured one happens!!!! I already know of 3 owners that have damaged their cases either by dropping it or knocking it against something. I have seen a CG complete break off of the case as well as 1/2 of one lug.

I know that the gen AP straps use a metal insert sewn into the strap to attach to the watch via the metal plots. AP bands use a plastic insert similar to the gen AP's metal piece. Other strap makers simply cut out 2 sections without using any insert. My question is what do the rep straps use and what does it look like? Does anyone have some pics of a rep strap's attachment end?

That CG is the NUTZ! I LOVE the concentric circular pattern you achieved on the CG pin and also the chamfer around the CG pin hole. Man, that CG has got to be one of the best, if not the best, rep CGs I've EVER seen on any of these board. Well done sir!!!!!

Man, I did NOT realize that was a franken. This build is probably even more AMAZING than your 202/a. Probably on the same quality as your 217 build!! You, my friend, are a PAM aficionado of the highest order!! This PreA logo and your 217 have taken PAM modding to another level.

That build and the components are TOP CLASS, really cannot improve on them except for maybe gen parts. Such a LOVELY piece!! Pete, you know my thoughts on this piece so PLEASE give me 1st rights if you part with it.

Pete, that PreA logo is PURE SEX, I mean that. It is the NUTZ!! Before I read the post I thought it was a 209 due to the CG and brushed two tone CG lever. I did NOT even know there was a PreA logo!!! LOVE IT and especially on the gen Dirk V1 Vero Squalo!!! What does the build consist of, parts wise? Dial looks nice as well. Is it one of Simon's latest, unlumed version or is this lumed?

The V2 was a great build with those gen parts and this V3 will be AMAZING as well with one of w0lf's custom Pre-V cases and Simon's newest dial (his best so far)!! Cannot wait to see it all put together!! Which CG are you using and are you doing ALL the CG mods yourself?

And do you think they will use real BRONZE for the case or just SS with a bronze coating? Anyone with inside info?

Well, then I guess we will need to wait to see the actual quality of this piece once others receive it. I think I will pre-order it BUT am not sure as I have not dealt with this seller before. Will there be customs difficulties shipping to EU countries since it is shipping from Turkey?

Does anyone besides me question the water-resistance of this rep? Is states 100m TESTED!! REALLY?? If that is true, it is shocking to see a rep with a quality pressure test to this depth directly from the factory without mods!! Just saying

Fantastic build, please let me know if you ever wish to part with it as I would be interested!! Guess that makes me 1st on the list, LOL!! BTW, I have to agree that the NEW dial looks amazing and because of the depth of the numerals it seems to look MORE gen-like than previous versions. I also agree that leaving it UNLUMED is the way to go as the already-painted and varnished numerals and dial needs nothing more!!
