    Ti po

Crown is fine. Small gap between end link and case on one side. No simple fix i think but may try changing springbars. Only thing I can see is the possibility the hands aren't parallel to dial, but raised from centre out. This could be the crystal but I'm buggered I'm going to take it to bits to find out

    Ti po

Hi - yes saw your review (maybe even posted there) and your pics etc were excellent. 8 hours later am totally used to it. The colour is also very different to SS. Somewhat dull and technical looking, and actually it fits nicely with the blue!

    Ti po

So my Ti po arrived! Thoughts out the box? Cheap cheap cheap! Thoughts a few hours later? Very nice!! Why the difference? Totally unused to the feel of Ti. Dial is superb! This thing is LIGHT and thats what threw me. Only issue is I can't decide if the hands are angled up at the tips (so not horizontal to dial), or if it is crystal distortion! Will keep looking I am really growing to like this thing. The blue initially looked dull (well the bezel) but when light hits it all changes. AR good and lume more than adequate (shade less intense than gen but the 2 tone is nice and distracting...!) Couple of quick wristies and a pic alongside my faithful gen!
  5. Great comments!! I was just checking Omega site. Odly can't find the 45.mm blue Ti there!!! Only in 42mm. Did they stop doing it in 45.mm?? Anyone know?
  6. Blue is liquid metal on gen. Ceramic and aluminium alloy. The reps? Who really knows.....
  7. Mine due to arrive soon!! Great post!

Buggered if I can remember or find his contact details. Any gentle help available??
  10. I so love this combo but wish omega had stopped at the caseback bond detail. The 007 dial bugs me. Some like it, others not. But anycase a beautiful piece. Enjoy!
  11. No one with influence on dealers or factories suggesting split second crono? If they did the A7753 surely its time for this! The top gun dopple would be a huge seller!
  12. And no dopple reps out there.....
  13. Top quality REP required .....there will be a waiting list as it's gorgeous!
  14. thanx all.....have apologised to TD. However the pearl wasn't centred, wasn't sure if double AR, and the end links looked not best flush with the case. So said TD (and he really is great) accepts my apologies with great patience, and is looking for another stock item for new QC pics.......
  15. Have got myself confused!!! and I may be confusing a TD who has sent me QC pics for shipping, and which i've rejected right now.....so can someone put me right (and out of my misery!) The new 45.5mm ceramic PO's. I read recently that the factories had made 2 corrections in the new batches. (1) proper double (purple hue) AR (2) remeoval of 'Liquid Metal' lettering on the caseback. I had thought these upgrades were applicabel to all the ceramic PO models, including the blue Ti one. HOWEVER - checking gen pics I may well be a*** for t** wrong ....so the $1M question is, should the blue Ti version have 'Liquid Metal' on the caseback? Cheers.....
  16. Actually the Liquid Metal was a special edition in 42mm only. The titanium is....titanium. No need for LM on the case back. I could be wrong, but that's what I think I've read here, and also what a friend who works in an AD and is a specialist in Omegas told me!
  17. Trusty hs it but it's not H or Noob factory, and uses A7750 not A7753 sadly!
  18. Hey - another Barcelona guy!! (I'm here also). Welcome.....
  19. Ok. Couple of weeks ago I received my IWC V2 44mm Top Gun (not the dopple). Crono pusher got stuck in so went to a watchsmith and he managed to fix. All seemed good. Then couple of days later 2 problems arose: (1) the hour and minutes hands stopped moving at 00.30, but the seconds continued. This coincided with the day wheel not changing over (date yes; day no). (2) in using the crono the pusher stuck again. In freeing it it came out! Both pushers can be pulled out with minimal effort. I've been back to a watchsmith twice and he has tried to fix these, but they keep comming out. Now have paid like €70 for the 2 visits. Am in contact with the dealer awaiting reply on what to do. But - has anyone had such experience? i'm thinking the day wheel can be resolved with a movement service (am based in EU so need to locate someone trustworthy), but the worrying thing for me are these damn crono pushers. Thoughts guys? Should this be returned, or keep tryong to fix here in EU? Thanx
  20. Thanx. I think they need to correct the caseback, movement inscription error, and assure no happy feet logo etc first. Waiting to read a review here of first ones to have received theirs to get the full gen.....
  21. Having looked at the release of the new PO ceramics we see a number of to be fixed flaws. Good looking watch (i really like Omega's changes on this model year). The case back has been copied from the blue titanium version and wrongly carried over to the others. States 'liquid metal' when it shouldn't. Easy fix to brush off, but a simple mistake. However I've fixed on the bezel colour. I was in an AD the other week and handled gens - 42mm and 45.5mm. The 42mm Liquid Metal that was released some time ago had a jet black bezel insert. However these PO Ceramics (or simply latest version PO's) have a more grey matte bezel insert. Certainly not jet black and glossy. Maybe I'm wrong and simply colour blind!! But maybe they've repped the liquid metal ceramic bezel and applied to the new case and bracelet PO's? Any other thoughts here?
  22. Hi all IWC experts. Even though I've done some searches (before I get flamed) I'm still not clear on the differecnes between the V1, V2 and V3 in the A7750 version. I refer to the single crono (not the dopple) - 44mm ceramic case. I had thought the V2 was a slight evolution of the V1. However I've read that the V2 has the crown in the wrong position. For the V3 I'm not at all clear on what the difference are. Can anyone summarise? Again I've had a quick search but didn't manage to really clarify at all!! BTW - I'm waiting to receive my V2 from Trusty, and I had understood was the best version at this time!
  23. Hijack in Spain- superb guy!
