Need a little URGENT help quickly on an issue. For those who have bought the latest 316F bright steel DSSD - with wrong or right bezel 10 position. I need to know how the crystal is.... Domed and flush to bezel as per gen? Slightly above bezel but domed? Above bezel and flat? What did you receive and which dealer did it come from. As said; need a little QUICK help on this.... Thanks guyz. Well I wanted the 316F but with better dial etc, and the correct bezel insert for fitting. So now I'm wondering if I should reject the watch because of the crystal, or go with it and later look for a better crystal..... Any thoughts?

Well - received pics and I have a query over the crystal height with respect to the bezel. The gen looks to be flush level. Reps I'm not so sure about. This is what I've been sent as my watch Based on these it looks like the crystal is a little higher than the bezel edge. Is this normal and acceptable for this rep in the 316F V5 version? It's not sent yet - will be probably tomorrow....so any help greatly appreciated. The correct 10 marked bezel insert will come seperate.

Oooh.... Opted for Mary to try her. Correct bezel comes seperately so I'm not sure to try to do the swap and mod myself ala Lani / Gio, or send it to a modder..... But there was a nice price difference even with the corrected bezel not assembled..... Her communication and pics so far have been excellent. Not lets see how the shipping and actual watch go...

Well....after much debating I've pulled the trigger on the latest, greatest, ultimate, no nonsense, really it's the best....DSSD. From the start I've never been a rollie fan, mostly due to the size. I always felt the Sea Dweller and Submariner were a fraction small. Since the V5 (V5.1, V5.2 or whatever) was reached, I've liked it more.... Have a gen 45.5mm PO so the width should be OK, but I'm still unsure over the height of this beast. Still - we'll see when it arrives. So I'm joining the club as it were. Wish me luck, and convince me I've done the right thing..... Will do a summary and pics when I have it in my hands...

Hi all. I've just had an e.mail from him. He's still in hospital. I'm trying to find out which one. I joked about us organising flowers and strippers. He said flowers was a nice thought, but given his eye condition he has very heightened sense of smell. Consequently flowers drive him nuts.... So maybe chocolates and something he'd appreciate??? The wine may be a good one.....he's bored where he is and desperate to get home..... I'd be in for a donation too. I guess depending on how many donate, the final cost would be split. @Hike - can you check options without flowers? You've got 2 donors here so that's the cost split 3 ways. The more people the merrier....How do we get funds sorted out? C'mon guys - cough up.

I had a brief exchange with him earlier today. From what he explained he's in agony and mobility problems due to his fall. Ribs fractured and a back issue... Not at all normal for him, and he's been a week this way with no improvement. Hence now being rushed to hospital in an ambulance..... Not trying to set off alarm bells, but it sounds serious for him. I sincerely hope it does turn out to be a great excuse for a few luke warm sponge baths from the nurses, although I'm not sure what the quality of 'said tallent' will be like there right now Here's hoping Sixx finds a speedy and successful recovery - but not so speedy that he doesn

I have recently started to get to know Nikki6. An extraordinary character. Those who know him will understand what I mean. Nikki6 is, as I write, en route to hospital due to a bad fall last week where he's done some damage to himself. For those who know him it may be a wee moral booster for him to receive a few words of support, tho I guess he'll be away from his computer / e.mails for a period of time. Meanwhile here just to say that I hope it's nothing that can't be sorted quickly, and so "get well soon" bud. Takes a lot to break a girder - he'll understand that when he gets a chance to read it.....

I feel bad for all those involved here, and think it's good for the community that there looks to be a way of personally (face to face) contacting him.... This is the best way forwards I think, but needs to be in a 'non confrontational' nature. And I sincerely hope some form of positive outcome can be had for those affected........fingers crossed and good luck guys. With the number of members in the UK and his details available, something should be possible..... Shame when Jakub scammed big bucks here, after lots of outrage in the forum it all went completely quiet and the community seemed to fail to get together stronger on that one........we lost an opportunity to recover a lot of money's worth of un returned items......

Hi. For a while I've become slowly more confused over how PAM crowns should be. I thought I had it clear when it was more or less clarified that say T60 is for autos, and T48 is for manuals. But I keep reading occasional comments over spring loaded crowns. So can someone please clarify what PAM reps should have ie what do gen's have? Manual = spring loaded 48 tooth crown? Or 48 tooth non spring loaded? Autos - should be spring loaded 60m tooth crown, or non spring loaded 60 tooth? Or some other variant (manual and auto)? Or has it varied over time? All clarifications gratefully received......
