  1. Its a beautiful community here buddy! And post those wrist shots already!
  2. If NSTNS has apologized and Ken has accepted, then as far as I see, none of us should say anything more. He made a mistake and manned up. Let's all cut him some slack yeah?
  3. mate you know how this sounds? You made me spit my spagetti all over the table, I was having dinner when I read your post. Good thing only my family is with me. A few strange forbidding looks, and the incident was over. Please be more careful with what you post in future!
  4. hey mate, there you are! told you i would get you!
  5. Congrats! Like sex, you will find that the subsequent times do get easier and smoother. But also like sex, please choose who you tango with mate.
  6. erm.. does giving a sidewalk shower to pedestrians who yell "cuntface!" to me count?
  7. and I thought you said you were humorless
  8. Dear Brian Ken is a good guy, and a patient and polite one, from my experience in communicating with him. You are new to RWG, but I believe that you would integrate into the community nicely given time and the knowledgeable members here. If you intend to dwell deeper into replica land, you would certainly encounter many "speed bumps" as you would call them, wrong order, DOA order, defective parts, delayed shipments, loss of shipments etc. Most of the issues, if not all, can be solved by contacting the dealers you purchased from. Should you choose to buy from a trusted dealer of RWG, you can PM any of the RWG crew (Ken is one of them btw lol) and they can intercede on your behalf. From experience, this is usually not necessary. A one to one dialogue with the vendor would be sufficient most of the time. Perhaps its your thread title that stirred the hornet's nest here. You need to understand that filing a PP dispute would affect not just you and the seller, but also the community members who purchase from the same dealer as you do. I can understand your sentiments, having gone through a lot of crap from various sellers, and your position of unfamiliarity with what to do and who to approach.Worry not, the community is a helpful one in general, if you know the correct buttons to push. Erase the PP dispute button from your inventory (which I am sure you already have) and start your knowledge and experience growth here. Everyone here has a different temperament, and would respond to you in their own ways, but I would like to believe that no harm is ever intended to you. Very few actually have the "bash the newbie" attitude. Cheers, and have a good stay!
  9. Mate, you wanna guess whats my other car besides a 997? I do like cunts but a cunt I aint.
  10. +1 A prime example of being an understanding person, a senior member, and a gentleman.
  11. A rep is a rep simply because it is not produced by the original brand manufacturer, because it imitates the physical characteristics of the genuine watch, because it is not marketed, sold nor certified by the manufacturer. Having said that, replica watches are improving in build quality and reliability these days, with frankens and modded replicas taking the hobby a step closer toward bridging the quality gap between the gen and rep watches. IMHO, a watch is meant to tell time and please its owner. If it serves its two core purposes well, then I would say it is a good watch for the guy who owns it. What a man chooses to live in, to drive, to wear, to eat, is his own business. You would not go up to a man in his restaurant and tell him that the tenderloin steak he is eating is not from the 45 day grain-fed cattle, or that the yellow shirt he is wearing looks ugly with the purple pants he has on, will you? Simply put, if your nose is where it belongs, and not dipped into another man's business, you can be assured that it is unlikely to get bruised or bloody.
  12. Lol, give him a chance man. I bet he can read and he can learn. He just needs help in moving toward the correct direction.
  13. Mate, sorry but your post sounds more like a rant which does not make a lot of sense when I read it. I understand you are unhappy with PureTime over a purchase and replacement issues but I am sure Angus can sort it out for you. Seems like perhaps its a communication issue? Take it easy
  14. Just a minor update: Looks like the supposed "raids" are letting up. Its just that this round of clamp-downs seem to be a more serious ones compared with the perfunctory, slap on the wrist variety in the past. I expect the following: a. The industry would definitely carry on, at least for the next ten years. When it comes to money-making, the chinese are one of the shrewdest folks around. You can bet your last rep that they would adapt and survive any government raid. Perhaps by offering the raid officer their best Panerai or AP. b. The costs of reps would likely go up at least slightly soon, either because of the raids, or because the dealers know we would be expecting it "because of the raids" c. That I could whip member ZorroLondon's butt with a bamboo switch 99 times before he realizes what's happening. Ok point c is a private joke for my new friend but lets see if a and b would come to pass..
