The yellow gold tone is alright in the rep. Plating, It is unlikely anybody will be able to tell you how long it will last, as it is a relatively new model, and nobody would have owned it long enough to tell. The rose gold plating tone is definitely off though. The SS will be more accurate visually, and weight wise. Unless you absolutely need a yellow gold model, I will advise you to stick to the SS model. Specifically the JF v3 15400.

The flaws you stated are minor and common and easily fixed. The case thickness is the biggest visual tell in my opinion and this needs to be fixed to make the watch look presentable on the wrist. Where did you get that rubber strap please? If you do take your watches to swim or wear it robustly, during summer especially, invest in a good rubber strap. Yes there are many aftermarket ones which look good, but not every brand will be able to withstand the climate/water. I will recommend you try the SCUTA series offered by AP Bands (other than gen rubber, which surprising is prone to rips and tears too). @astonjenks The Legend cannot perform super level magic, as inclined as he is to help. For what he’s asking, it’s much easier for him to save up and get the gen, which I am sure he is able to in a matter of time. I have recently been getting PMs from members stating their expectations which is fine, but also an unrealistic budget for me to work with to get it done. For this watch and the stated mods, yes it’s possible if he’s willing to spend $8000 to get it built. Else, please find a more talented and patient modder. I’ll pass. Yes, I am sure the rubberclad is gen. Basically, I think that your rubberclad is an F or G series, and as such, it uses the 2226/2840 movement instead of the updated 3126/3840 movement used the newer ROOs. The cyclop of the older movement and series will not be as clear as the modern ones. Also, the datefont will also differ. But gen is gen. I am posting a pic of my i series Safari for comparison. Just a minor update: Paypal has advised seller to make a police report regarding the incident, and this has been done, and the report submitted to Paypal. One main reason why I am updating this case progress, is because I think that we can all learn from this episode, sellers and buyers and would-be scammers alike. The point is that one cannot simply start a paypal dispute after having buyer remorse, and hope to walk away from it unscathed. As one can infer from reading this thread, it will be long and drawn-out process if both parties make their cases, and the outcome may not be in favor of the buyer always.

I have done about 5 XF v2 FC divers.. only mods needed are the low beat conversion and cyclop.

You can spot reps on his instagram account. I have spotted at least 3. If his intention from the very beginning is to scam and cheat, then everything else he did would have made sense. Why ask for low beat at all, if the intention was to have a smooth sweeping hand? I guess to this ignoramus, the gen 15400 will look fake too due to the movement of the second hand.
