I couldn't be happier that I ventured into the world of reps. I feel as though I have saved a tremendous amount of money. I am careful with my spending and rarely buy new watches on impulse. My collection is small but to me purely magnificent - a perfect exemplification of the best this underground world has to offer. Just looking at it every day gives me great pleasure, and that my friend, is worth more than you can count!

I would recommend leaving watches completely out of the picture (unless you find something really rare like a quality JLC or Blancpain) and instead try to pick up things that our dealers do not carry or which need to be tried on in a fitting room before purchase - designer sunglasses, clothing, suits, tie clips, umbrellas, etc etc. Remember don't be afraid to haggle over there. Haggle like your life depends on it. From what I've heard they have completely different customs than we do in the West and you're pretty much expected to fight for a good price. The comedic slogan is always "if your seller is smiling after the transaction you've done something wrong."

I guess their mentality is "if their rich enough to throw away their money on one of our ugly over-hyped watches they can afford shipping charges and probably have another watch to wear while they wait for repairs to finish, anyway"

Hi! Making animated .gifs is a rewarding and fun experience, but you need to have the right tools of the trade. It is possible to make some really beautiful things. Corgi recommends: ULEAD GIF ANIMATOR v5.5 Once you have purchased and installed this product I recommend spending an afternoon just messing around with it. I guarantee you the first result you get will be useless but tinker with it and you'll make something really nice. I've had no luck with this. Most free .gif makers have strict limitations, spyware/adware, or force a watermark on your completed file.

To be fair, I just finished downloading it this morning and will watch it as soon as I finish doing yard work. I will return with my verdict thereafter.

Doesn't it just stink that you always get something WORSE than you ordered when it's the wrong watch? Nobody buys a $98 rep and gets a flying tourbillon or solid gold patek by accident - instead you get either a minor variation of what you ordered or something of lower value.
