I would recommend leaving watches completely out of the picture (unless you find something really rare like a quality JLC or Blancpain) and instead try to pick up things that our dealers do not carry or which need to be tried on in a fitting room before purchase - designer sunglasses, clothing, suits, tie clips, umbrellas, etc etc.
Remember don't be afraid to haggle over there. Haggle like your life depends on it. From what I've heard they have completely different customs than we do in the West and you're pretty much expected to fight for a good price. The comedic slogan is always "if your seller is smiling after the transaction you've done something wrong."
