A lot of people actually sell them for more than they paid... but we'll let the jokers fill you in on that!
Actually resale value is good depending on model, age, and condition. The problem is dealing with unsavory customers and people trying to rip you off...

They did exist a few years ago but I guess production has stopped. I have asked Narikaa to search for them on his most recent trip but I guess it came up empty - and if he can't find any then it's likely nobody can.
I'm not too worried about some Swedish fashion website as I am worried about the somethingawful.com forums, which is one of the most popular international "general interest" boards on the internet (in the top 3)... there was some douche actually posting LINKS and specific information about our watches - there is no question in my mind he frequents RWG or one of its copies
Don't you have to get interviewed by Patek Philippe representatives before you buy this watch?
"Well, gentlemen, one of my hobbies is collecting replicas - in fact I plan to purchase this watch with the help of my friends, all counterfeit-loving fake watch aficionados, so we can pass it around for fun!"

NO. Do NOT do this.
Instead, do this:
1) Search online for what look you want.
2) Measure your watch to determine the appropriate strap width.
3) Proceed to AD with measurements and photo of gen... then make your purchase after ensuring they match and will most likely fit.
4) Take rep watch and new gen strap to servicing booth at SEARS or your country's equivalent, and get them swapped.
IMHO still the best complicated dress watch available. Very accurate to the original, useful complications, and ridiculously cheap to buy. This is my father's watch and for him it's a "grail" watch... not bad... for $98 to get a visually stunning copy of a $25,000+ limited edition VC !!
$550 from HOMER
$600 from HOMER
$599 from Joshua/Trusty/Narikaa/etc
