Does a Toyota station wagon count?

That's hilarious! "Bundling Baby" had me rolling on the floor!!! ...but I betcha I could find a lot of people for whom these signs would be genuinely enlightening...

I was thinking about that as well actually TeeJay. The only reason I am getting the Mont Blanc is that Louis Vuitton has almost become the clich

Strange. The (standard one complication [date]) Nautilus Jumbo (pictured below) is a reference "5711/1A" It is the only jumbo model, with the other being a black face version of the same thing. This is also the watch which exists in both MBK and standard Chinese replica incarnation... According to the latest price guide, this watch has an MSRP of $19,900. That's more than $8,000 less than the price your authorized dealer wanted! So - I have a strange suspicion you actually tried on a Nautilus 5711G - basically the same thing, except in beautiful white gold. Regardless, $20K for a hunk of stainless steel worth no more than $1000 to manufacture is a little outrageous. But remember, you're not paying for the item, you're paying for the words resting atop the item. And that is what it all comes down to, and why most of us are here in the first place...

I believe the Chopard Mille Miglia chrono should be out soon... if it isn't already. Any day now. Does anyone have any updates on this? We can only keep our fingers crossed that they will release a RELIABLE DAYTONA SECONDS-AT-SIX!

Test: Silix’ Breitling Aeromarine Superocean H

This watch is gorgeous! I don't think I'm going to buy one, as its not my thing, but really it is quite a nice watch. -
I remember when all you needed to look flash was one of these. These phones were CLASS. Pure luxury status symbol goodness.

Get Kenberg's Mont Blanc nightflight bag... that's what I'm gonna do. How come only women get to have fun with reps of luxury bags?

That's absolutely disgusting. I don't know how people can do such things and be able to sleep at night... it makes my blood boil. Unbelievable...

There are two types of crowns on the MBK Nautilus, and I have no clue how that happens, but it's pretty interesting. There is a longer one that sticks out a-la "vintage 70s and 80s Nautilus" that matches the rest of the watch more or less, and then there is the modern one which is quite shorter and does not stick out as much. The Chinese MBK-copy also has the short crown. The short one is more popular, and from what I've seen in the wrist shots, the longer one is more rare. Now, neither of the official MBK crowns screw down. Here are some photos to explain. Remember, both of these watches are (supposedly) MBK - so it is strange how they can have different crowns.... (1) Little crown © Stephane (2) Big Crown (3) Genuine crown NONE of these screw down.

This watch is really stealthy and cool. Thanks for the review. I loved that picture of it beside the gun and other black accessories... I think it really suits your image, and then some! I would definitely consider one of these affordable quartz Bell n' Rosses for outdoor excursions, sports, fitness, and other times where I get active but don't want my fragile timepieces to suffer the consequences!

Joshua has a very gentle homage to this wristwatch available here: http://www.pc-80108.com/rlymf10010-2007-ya...813-p-3326.html and here: http://www.pc-80108.com/rlyms10010-2007-ya...813-p-3262.html ...surprisingly, quite a large number of people have purchased this watch.

This watch has been on his site for YEARS. In that time, only three people have purchased one of these watches. I would definitely check with him (email) to see if this is still available... I doubt it however. It is absolutely safe to buy from Joshua, he will make sure your items arrives in great condition. If I were you, I recommend to get this watch. It is much better I believe: http://www.pc-80108.com/fmco10002-ladies-c...6712-p-242.html I have had great experiences with this watch... trust me... lady will go crazy.

Doesn't the woman presenter - Vicky - wear a Cartier Santos?

The best thing to do is just open your watch and smear some household butter or marjorine in there... that should make all the gears spin real smooth.

Finally! Another person gets one with the unmistakable vintage style crown! I love love love that picture!!! This is THE Nautilus to get, so rare, so beautiful! Tell me, do you have a larger version of this photograph? I want to use it for my wallpaper... 1440x900 or 1280x600 is what I need...

getting called out/complimented........any stories?
Corgi replied to cc's topic in General Discussion
Oh my God! That's ludicrous! PS: Who bumped this ancient topic? -
"RolexCompanyStore.com" ...it's a "sneaky" scam site where they sell all of the watches we have access too for double or triple the price we can buy them for. Moreover, I wouldn't be surprised if folks who do send them money receive nothing in return... so is the trend with such dealers I suppose.

I've always been curious about the following; 1. Do they tell you how to treat customers wearing reps? 2. What do you do when a potentially dangerous or suspicious customers asks to see a very expensive watch? 3. How many high end watches do you actually sell on a weekly, monthly basis? 4. What kind of discount do you get? 5. How low are you allowed to get the price for a customer who wants to haggle? Anyway, good success on your new job! Sounds like a lot of fun!

This watch looks like a Breitling Avenger Seawolf. It's an 'affordable' model with a retail of $2,695. The movement is Breitling Caliber 44 (base ETA 2892-A2) 44mm case. Certainly the model needs some more details but it is quite an accurate homage thus far.

I like this post. A lot.

Today I'm wearing a gorgeous Rolex submariner with a touch of gold for that elegant style. This one is truly special, perhaps my only rep without any faults.

It was... different. But some scenes were uproariously funny.

You can't say something like "novelty diver underwater wristwatch $XX" ? Usually the people who work there don't care, as long as all of the spaces on the form are filled out with something, then their job has been done and they release the item. That is what I notice here in Canada. The customs police are like these programmed machines that obey orders and have no clue as to what they are actually doing. Just remember do not mention the brand name and write really fast and squiggly to tire them out....
