  1. Some Daytona "lover" if he couldn't recognize the faux running seconds... that would be the first thing I noticed and although I don't dislike the watches, they aren't my absolute favorites either...
  2. Beautiful Graham Narikaa... This Monday I am wearing one of my absolute favorites, I took a few shots while I was snuggling up with Jellybean:
  3. I have to politely disagree. From these images, I can't help but like the unique and colorful design of this watch. The lightning seconds hand is an exciting touch, which fuses itself nicely with the orange hour markers and milgauss logo. The increased case size is also a great idea, adding a touch of sportiness to a timelessly elegant classic Rolex design. Definitely an alternative to those who find conventional Datejusts too petite, I believe this new watch will earn a well-deserved following, especially since it happens to be one of the more conservative and promising new ventures from the company.
  4. I've seen that man grocery shopping... the host... he is quite friendly...... I have been where that is filmed, too
  5. I completely agree with you. Thank Goodness for countries of freedom like America and Israel that fight for justice and peace...!!!!
  6. Beautiful, beautiful watch. Elegant yet sporty, with a unique and breathtaking design. Perfect for all occasions.
  7. It's definitely unique... a collectible piece for sure!
  8. Its a fake watch duh isn't that is the same accessory boxset Joshua sells for $128? Look at how poor the plastic is on the hang tag, like the two pieces were glued very cheap. If not the watch itself, the box is definitely now genuine... ...and a $7,000 for $1,200 are you kidding me right now? To me, all signs point to scam.. but ya never know
  9. I have Joshua's. Superb watch, I would absolutely recommend him. TTK has a much more artistic picture, sure, but I do not judge the book by its cover.
  10. I guess this would be a good time to say that, if there are any other Corgis around on the other forums... active for the past month... it is NOT me.......
  11. I think you should get a Patek Philippe. Gosh I love them so much. How about a vintage model? Nothing too fancy... great investment though, always.
  12. Easy... its a joke...... relax.
  13. They make for great photos. ...and it's fun, at least for me, to pretend that I'm really the owner of a $10,000 watch. I like to fondle it around, read the manuals, place it on the box, wrap it in protective paper. Some of my really good reps, like the Sub pictured above, have almost convinced my that they are genuine because I keep them in boxes and treat them with extra carefulness. It's fun! Of course you don't wear the box on your head, but when you store you watch in a box, with realistic accessories, and realistic papers, and cards, it makes you feel like you really do own a ~$10,000+ watch for less than $300 !
  14. Why boycott all the dealers....? Let just boycott TTK...!
  15. I'm confused.... who sold you the box for $40? Kenberg...? Is that what you're inferring? Forgive me but its late here.
  16. As an amateur photographer, I like to use photoshop to correct the problems in many of the photos I take. That being said, I try to avoid over-using it. I also never crop out damaged portioned of watches, like a permanent blemish and so on... there are limits, and I find photoshop is of excellent personal use to repair aesthetic mistakes, but I do agree should not be used to 'cover up' blemishes or debris; especially during a sale.
  17. I find many people on timezone have deep psychological issues. Many are compensating for something, especially on the Rolex forums. It's painfully similar to the Ferrari owners club. You get a lot of "mine is (newer/better/faster/more expensive) so THERE. But... I don't like it any way! I'm just that rich."
  18. Hilarious... I read it with an over-the-top 80s soviet movie-villain voice....
  19. I would prefer one with a display front, because I like to see them twirl.
  20. Germany has a really fun police force... at least according to "Alarm Fur Cobra 11"
  21. ...with a rubber strap! Hublot really knows elegance and sophistication... clearly.
  22. I wear a goldtone bracelet fully encrusted with diamondelle and I have a electroplated gold ring with 24 diamondettes... but that sometimes makes my finger green .
  23. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d19/vdub...dy059.jpg"]http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d19/vdub...Eyecandy059.jpg I have the same! (Sort of) ... let's be friends...!!!! Below is my baby...
  24. 18K electroplate is what most reps generally have. This will NOT last daily wear and will start to peel in about 10-12 months. Two years and it will look like the watch took an acid bath. 14K "wrapped" gold is much better... it is a considerably thicker layer of gold. I have one of these and it is superb - definitely a worthwhile upgrade from the 18K electro above. Some reps, very rarely, are made with actual true solid 18K gold. This is an investment for life, but some would argue that the price of entry is not worth it - (about $700+) because while the gold will last a lifetime, the movement surely will not. If you are looking for a gold daily beater, however, then I must point you to Joshua's solid gold datejusts. I do not have one, I'm too cheap... but it is a very convincing rep. NOBODY will think it possible to have a fake rolex but made with solid gold... nobody will know about it so you cannot get called out with one of these watches... you just cannot.. it impossible. (Unless the factory sends you a defective unit with some gunk under the glass or the child building the watch has a bad day and aligns the hour markers crooked) Your call!
  25. Exactly... my question is why would the makers implement such an outrageous change to an already excellent rep? It is a step backwards is it not...?
