I love these new 1950 cases of PAM! I can't wait for this model to be REP'ed!
JANDREW.........if you read this, please get this one done!
-
I have a goal of keeping all of them under $100. Right now I have about $60 ($43 for watch and about $20 for crown and tube) into this one.
If you guys will give me either a thumbs up or down on this crown I will order some 7mm versions if it is OK and I'll take a few snaps when I install it onto the "No-date" Sub project I'm working on.
Go for it, Dude~! I, for one would like to see that! I love frankens!
-
Hey J!
If you could take time and take shots of the Tube/Crown replacement process next time, then we could follow! Like a tutorial, you know~!
Looking good! You're frankens are inspiring!

From the archives, but wearing this today:

Still the 5513
Love that bracelet! I wish I could find one for mine!

Its 22mm across the lugs and I must say that the rep rubber feels really good, nice and soft.
My problem with the PVD version is that it just looks like there's too much white on the front, but thats just me.
If the bezel numbers were more subdued, red or gloss black as to not draw you away from that cracking dial, I might. But then again, its what the gen is like.
Time will tell as to how the blasted finish holds up but as soon as you get a scratch on it, your mullered.
Its still my preference though, just gotta be careful.
Thanks for the input! So same size as the Breits! I have a rubberized black/red strap that I thought you could use, but it's a 20mm!
Too bad!

i sent an email to andrew and josh regarding what the case of these models was REALLY made of:
Josh: "yes.. Its titanium."
Andrew: "It is 100% titanium and not alloy or SS. money back if it's not titanium. It is significantly lighter than SS. thanks"
R-
Hey R-
Ti is much lighter than SS.....check the Breit Aero you got from me! It weighs like plastic! My 036 is much lighter than the 111/113/207A!
Hope that helps!
Cheers!
