  1. I love your photos Hike.

In fact, to be straight, I didn't realise you took such great shots untill recently.

    Keep them coming!

That Blak steel is fantastic indeed...

@Stephane....thanks :victory: ! I appreciate the positive comments!

    Cold Turkey is tough.... :pardon:

    :cry2::cry2::cry2:

You can always tear apart a few, put the bits in a pile, then draw out at random and build a few "interesting" watches! ;-)

    @jmb......you're such a bad influence.................................. :bangin::bicycle:

  2. All the watches are looking sharp, bro, but the Blacksteel really suits you :good::drinks:

Thanks, Amigo! Now I have to give each one of them ample wrist time!

Thank you for your kind words F :thumbsupsmileyanim:

It was a sweet transaction indeed and you are such a fun

guy to deal with bro :good:

And as TJ said that Blacksteel is :Jumpy::wub:

    John

    J-

Here's a wristy of your Sub:

    subj.jpg

I replace the bracelet, greased all the rubber o-rings, and give it the once over toothbrush/toothpaste treatment!

    Thanks,

    F-

  3. Hike, noticed your yaller ball. Does yours have that fukuwhatever chicken on the other side like mine does! ;) I finally had to use my "real" case back wrench. I was gonna grease the seals in the wife's Ladies Datejust before I gave it to her and I guess there wasn't enough area for the sticky-ball to grab onto. I ordered one of those counterfeit Buergeon (sp?) case back wrenches and it took damn near a month to get it, then she wouldn't part with the watch 'cause she was afraid I'd break it! But, finally did it this evening...

Nah! Just a generic one from Ofrei! Only case opener I have! I use it for every watch!

  4. Well.....just to update on my mental breakdown a week ago......pictures of the arrivals:

1st from the hackr MAN (What can I say that hasn't been said already....the one and only, thanks my friend!):

And the PAM cases and movements arrived from HongKong, but alas the dials and hands are probably still in transit from

Singapore and California. I just assembled the current PAM111 dial and hands.....still have to Water test the cases!

Thanks for looking Guys! I'll add pictures as they arrive!

Have a great weekend Everyone!!! :drinks::drinks::drinks::group:

  5. Bah, it's only 200 miles! Piece-o-cake. :tu: Now will someone please chip the ice off my eyelids so I can blink?

    nome2.jpg

That's what I thought.....you must be built like a Yeti to do this ride! but sounds like fun! Something I'd like to do if I live there!

My Boss in the USAF used to race the Iditarod every efffing year and I regretted not going with him at least once~! I was young and a pussy then. The most adventure I did then was ice fishin up in Holter Lake, Montana and shootin at Bambi and some wild turkeys~! :pardon:

Oh....and this is what we do in the Midwest now........

    salmonhead.jpg

You gotta watch it, koz if you eat too much Lake Michigan Salmon, you turn into a fish head!

  6. Lookin' good, Hike! Your latest Daytona is similar to my idolreplicas Daytona except mine has arabic numbers instead of stick-markers. I think the red on black dial scheme is dyno-mite albeit kinda hard to see in low light.

TeeJay, thanks! When you average about $45 per Sub you can get a whole sack-full of 'em for just a wee bit of money!

    :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Got this Tona with a Serviced Movement......
