  1. Twelve priests were about to be ordained. The final test was for

them to line up in a straight row, totally nude, in a garden while a sexy,

beautiful, big breasted, nude model danced before them.

Each priest had a small bell attached to his weenie and they were

told that anyone whose bell rang when she danced in front of them would not

be ordained, because he had not reached a state of spiritual purity.

The beautiful model danced before the first candidate, with no

    reaction.

She proceeded down the line with the same response from all the

priests, until she got to the final priest, Carlos.

Poor Carlos. As she danced, his bell began to ring so loudly that

it flew off, clattering across the ground and laid to rest in nearby

    foliage.

Embarrassed, Carlos quickly scrambled to where the bell came to

    rest.

He bent over to pick it up......Then all the other bells started to

    ring.

  2. Good one.......another one, but not a funeral, but could led to one:

Wife: Honey, please answer me in all honesty, do I look pretty or ugly ?

    Husband: Both!

    Wife: What do you mean?

    Husaband: You're Pretty Ugly!:thumbsupsmileyanim::bicycle:

  3. Hey Ken,

I think I might have created one during the TTK affair maybe a couple of years ago, but can't remember anymore. Please feel free to delete if it's still around. I wanna keep hike!

  4. I'm not much for Lumes meself, but there are occasions and situations that it is nice to have in your watch, like.......

    - I was out camping last Summer and happen to wear my Blue Ceramic sub. Having that Blue Lume in the middle of the night out in nature, inside your tent in total darkness was kinda nice, I was able to tell what time it was when I woke up to answer the call of nature.:thumbsupsmileyanim:

    - Friday/Sat. movie night in our Home Theater with the kids out, it's nice to check the time (if it's close to their curfew or not) without turning on the light.:thumbsupsmileyanim:

  5. Thanks again everyone for your kind words. Look it it this way, I will be able to spend more time with my RWG friends :) Truth be told, the job sucked and I wasn't happy. I had an hour and a half commute (on a good day), I didn't like what I was doing and it wasn't going to get any better. I have a couple of things in the pipeline, but sitting here when you know you should be at work, is unnerving. Like someone said; what doesn't kill you, will make you stronger.

    Marty

Hey Marty.......so it's not that bad after all! Sometimes things like this happens for a reason! Maybe this is what you need for a change. It did to me before and things and everything turned out okay....as it would for you! Hang in there and goodluck with the job search. Let us know if we could be of help in one way or another!

On the same note, you're the second one here on RWG that lost his job recently that I know of! He's been quite about it, but I know, just like you, he's been on the positive and up and up attitude about it!

    Cheerio my friend!:victory:

  6. Sorry to hear about your flooded basement......I went thru that 2 years ago. One thing I could say or suggest, replace that carpet! Your insurance should cover it. I don't care how much the cleaning Co. blow dry it, it won't be the same! And you have to take out the padding anyway.....mold would be your enemy, if not soon.....later!

My basement have 1/8th carpetting and the rest Pergo Hard Wood and I had to replace the whole thing. Now it's all hard wood! Check with your insurance and if they cover it, replace them. You don't wanna be exposed to molds specially if you have kids and pets! Plus, if you sell your house in the future, it might come up during the inspection!

Goodluck and I hope you feel better now!:thumbsupsmileyanim:

  7. The most satifying vintage rep out of the box is a MBW GWSD. First off it has that great wrist appeal in general with the superdome crystal and nice fit and finish. Now if you take that watch and do the following you have one incredible watch at a relativly nominal price:

    Shave the CG

Drill the lug holes and install the correct size springbars

Install a PMW insert and Ofrie pearl

Install Clark Superdome or flat top. (I prefer the superdome)

    Install correct tube and crown

So we are talking 400.00 for the base watch and another 400.00 or so in mods. So thats 800.00 bucks for a near perfect GWSD.

......but then it won't be out of the box  !
