  1. I think the biggest "tell" on this one is the subdials. On the rep, the hash marks nearly touch the silver ring. On the gen the is a definate space between the hash marks and the outer ring. As mentioned before, the type is slightly off, but over all this appears to be pretty nice. I'm not sure about case numbers, so does anybody know if the caseback is correct, or is it from the non-chrono version?

Another "tell" is the dot @3 and @9! The gen doesn't have them!

  2. yeah i wasn't sure of his current status - my issues with him were well documented

i think what everyone has to remember is trusted dealer is a relative term- considering the industry. Compared to the jerks selling an asian PO for 700$$$ like i posted about the other day, our guys at least can be held to account.

i'm sure lots of people trust their crack dealer, until the day he screws them :) - having a track record going back years, means alot in this business though - we are all still much better off then if there were no RWG. - a few bad deals in the mix or not :)

    I agree!

  3. I have dated 2 women that worked for ADs & neither had the slightest interest in watches. And from what they told me, the male full-timers are not much more knowledgeable than they are. Most of the people who work in ADs work there because there was an opening & they got hired. It is just a retail sales job to them. I think the counter help in my local Sears Tire Store is more knowledgeable about tires than the average AD's counter staff is about watches.

I totally agree! Had this Dumb AD Sales Person experience while visiting Tourneau Time Dome in Vegas. No clue whatsover!

  6. what are you going to say if there someone ask you "is your watch a replica?". what kind an answer to convince her/him that your watch is genuine?. because most everyone ask to me like that and sometime i feel shy if i say my watch is replica.hehehe

This have been discussed before......ahhhhh, Search?

  7. So I guess there is nothing to be done? I really don't understand it ..... why do we put up with the quality. There must be a way to at least make a price adjustment for these watches. If you pay X$ for a watch and it's not right, then the prices must reflect. I don't mind paying big $ for great reps, but they should deliver what is promised ... no?

Well, there is something you could do and you don't have to put up with it........DON'T buy from that dealer that screwed, you again!!! And post his name here so that we all know who he is and your experience with that dealer! If we have enough complaints about that dealer, I'm pretty sure the ADMINS here will do something....as what had happened before! If you're with RWG for some time now, you know what I'm talking about!

Then when you find a dealer that you're happy and confortable with, stick with him/her, it's easier for both parties. It won't always be perfect, but it's easier to mitigate the problem once a relationship with a dealer is established! I've been burnt a few times with some of our dealers here, but I've also learned from it! With regards to buying from our fellow members here in RWG, all I could say is......it's been smooth sailing! Most if not all our members here are above and beyond! I have bought from members who are from Canada, KIWI, OZ, EU, Gringos/Latinos, ...and all were perfect deals! Keep up the good work fellow RWGerssss!

HAPPY MOTHER's DAY to all our MOMS!!!
