  1. We exchange txt a month ago and said he was getting ready to get out of the Hospital.......haven't heard from him since, I just didn't wanna bother him too much. Maybe it's about time to touch base again.......I'll update when I hear from him and also relay everyone's concern!
  2. I know it was a SCAM, but finally, they admitted it......so far in Australia, now a Class Action Lawsuit have been filed in California!
  3. Cheap???? You get what you pay for..... Expensive???? Depends....... Usually, if you buy from our approved source.......Expensive means of better quality of build/construction, materials and movements! QC and water resistance is hit or miss! Some approved dealers promote their QC, but that's something you deal directly with the dealer. I have bought cheap ones when I started this hobby that are still working (built some, too) and expensive ones that died soon after (movement wise).Chronos have higher failure rate than Automatics! Manuals are more reliable......all these are IMHO! Take it with a grain of salt! Good luck and happy collecting! Go Wallabies!!!!
  4. I'll go with the Toshiba Thrive........ - replaceable battery - full SD Card/USB/HDMI Support (KB/Mouse...thumb drive/ext. HD) - excellent BT devices support (even Dell KB/Mouse) - rest are basically the same as above! My tip....buy the 16Gig model and get a 32 Gig Class 6+ SD card for $50 or so..... Place to buy walk-in?.....Best Buy..... Cheaper at Amazon.....no sales tax and free shipping 2-3 days!
  5. No wonder you've been so quite......you've been heavily weighted down by that handsome monster! I beat you don't need weights wearing this diving! Congrats Mate! You know who you could deposit it with when the time comes! :whistling:
  6. If it was a 649X......VACLUME is right in your backyard, but he doesn't service 7750! Best for you is to contact The Zigmeister by posting right here and hope that he reads it......then take it from there. Not so sure about how busy he is! You could also try the other forums.......I heard that EddieLee or something have been doing service for those other fora.....check him out!
  7. Congrats! Excellent job. This is a scary project if you don't have the skill. I won't do this if I don't have a spare.........
  8. Don't asked me where I got the strap from..........I have no clue! I believe I bought it from one of our members from a yeear or so ago!
  9. Porn is were the money is! Lol!
  10. Remove the case back and grease the o-ring. Since you have it open, remove the crown and grease the crown and tube o-rings. Put them back and check that The crystal is well setted. If it is, then have it pressure tested up to 10atm if you can, if it pass......go swim with it! My experience with Rolex reps....they are always good for swimming after greasing, except the Daytonas! The only leak I experienced is wt a GMT iic, but it was due to improperly Setted crystal. Good luck.
  11. Let me know when you're ready to do it, I have the GEN camera same one he's using......I'll lend it to you! Just sign a form that says "I get back the camera after my $hit splatters all over!"
