  1. My thoughts Neil does not have a great relationship with several members of the mod team. Especially since that final thread at the other place when T pulled the plug. So who made the calls here? Admin or Neil's friends (NOT) KB, BT, TT, et al? Could TTK's threats been more a result of the mod teams's inability to act as a unit, and his subsequent suspension, reinstatement, suspension and reinstatement, coupled with his frustration over multiple people pulling the strings here? Why was TTK trading area suspended shortly after he posted of a medical problem? TWP posted the very next day about his drinking and drug woes, yet his section remains untouched. My feelings are that TTK was being harassed by the mods, and when he lost his temper they saw their opportunity to punt him. After all, to a man, the have all stated that Neil would not scam anybody. Sorry fellas, I call them how I see them.
  2. Jesus Ken, you are jumping in time more than a LOST episode. T made that comment after the banning, not after TTKs account was locked, reopened, locked, reopened, then closed for good. Who the F do you think reopened them???
  3. Ken, according to Neil, access to his PMs was denied without warning. Now, coming on the heels of his dealer section being locked down (again with no warning), I doubt whether he had the foresight to archive his PMs. For you and the admin team to try and take any kind of credit for members receiving watches is absurd. As far as I can see, you took away his ability to do business here (apparently without T' consent), not once but twice. You denied him access to his business info, and have done nothing but slow the process for RWG members. Everybody will get their watches, as I'm sure you knew they would, but please don't take credit for it.
  4. Did you read my post? Go to RepGeek. If you think about it, if you were in his shoes, wouldn't you want tour RWG customers to register at RG? He really has no use for RWG only members does he
  5. TTK has asked me to let the members here know that he will NOT be visiting RWG for the purpose of collecting his PMs. Needless to say that the recent events have soured him on this place, and that he does not wish to enter the site again. If you have outstanding issues with the group buy he has asked that you contact him at RepGeek with details. @TT, thanks for trying.
  6. If the big concern here is for our members to get their watches, then why not grant TTK access to his PM box where he has information critical to the delivery of our members watches? That, to me, would seem to be a far more useful approach.
  7. I've got a pumpkin UPO, a Silix Black 45mm PO, and have all the parts to repair my Black UPO. Just thought it would be nice to have the complete set, so I'm looking for an Orange dial for an UPO (Asian or Swiss, I'll make it work). PM me if you have anything!
  8. True CS, but as we have seen inaccurate posting is happening here (TTK pocketing re-routing charges), and TTK isn't here to defend himself against this type of BS. Is it fair that Rico or Narrikaa have to monitor this thread just to make sure TTK's back is covered? The casual reader may now be left with the impression that TTK is indeed a scammer, if they happened to view before Reg was able to uncover the truth. All these people will get there watches. I'm sure you have no doubt about that either CS. So shut the tread, and stop spreading rumor and innuendo about a guy who is not here to defend himself.
  9. What is the point in keeping it open Ken? Without TTK here to listen, you are just being a bunch of whining hens.
  10. Listen Ken, for whatever reason you guys have punted TTK. Why have a thread to knock him further, when he is unable to defend himself?
  11. Not much of an SMP guy so I cant comment on that, but the PO appears to be a rep wit genuine dial, crown and hands.
  12. That was freakin awesome! Any tablature on that one?
  13. They are mostly quartz UB7, but there are one or two automatics as well.
  14. Unfortunately I haven't seen a decent ladies Breitling. Bezel looks weak on this one, pearl is awful, and the watch just looks cheap. Also, is your lady the type that will have the patience for an automatic movement? Some people, my wife included, are just more suited to quartz watches.
  15. Virtually every private deal I have done has lead to me having to do some level of repair or reconditioning on the watch. I chalk it up to the fact that I am very picky about my watches, and my definition of pristine differs from others. My SFSO, described as "scratch free" showed up with a gouged caseback and a light scratch on the mineral crystal. The problem is that our sales sections have become so popular, that decently priced watches sell almost immediately. You don't have time to ask questions, request better pictures, or do any research. I've come to expect these imperfections when buying used, and have become pretty adept at fixing cosmetic issues. The days of "full disclosure" from sellers seems to be long gone, and its now "buyer beware".
  16. Very awesome watch. Congrats!
  17. I've got the same watch, and I really do prefer it on leather. The white looks great with just about any color strap too!
  18. I'm not overly concerned as I didn't pay a fortune for it, and I have two other UPOs. I just wanted another one to use simply for rubber and leather straps. Changing the bracelet on these things can be a bit of a chore! But I was a little disappointed. I would be very upset if I paid full pop for a Heritage only to find that the ETA was fake though!
  19. I recently picked up this watch from another member... He had originally advertised it with no movement description, but as I immediately determined it was a Silix 45mm PO, and he only sells it with an ETA 2836, I snapped it up. When the watch arrived last week I eagerly opened the caseback to confirm my suspicions. Yep, ETA logo, with 2836 markings. The condition inside the watch wasn't up to snuff (no clamps, and some other issues), so I decided to send it to The Zigmeister for some repair and to have it lumed. Zig emailed me yesterday saying that he had some suspicions about the movement, as the ETA markings appear to be etched, not stamped. Today, another email from Zig confirmed that it was definitely NOT an ETA movement. As he told me he'd only ever seen one other occurrence like this, I thought it would be interesting to post here. So, a warning to all those purchasing Silix ETAs, you may not be getting what you paid for.
  20. Rico, I understand what you are saying, but in this case you are wrong. Did TTK make threats? Probably, he hasn't had a problem with making them in the past. Does he have the right to a fair trial? No. This is T's house, and its our privilege to be here. If that privilege is abused, then you are shown to the door. If the admin team was stupid enough to fabricate these "threats", then I am sure we will hear about it when RG reopens its doors. Until then I would advise you to lay off the conspiracy theories my friend, it really doesn't do anyone any good. When TTK does resurface, and his side of the story is told (I am certain he is carefully putting together his manifesto as we speak), then you can make a decision as to whether you should argue his case. Bottom line is that TTK had a habit (at times) of simply ignoring certain customers. Excuses aside, he has been online, knew about the complaint threads, and for whatever reason chose to ignore them. Several years ago, I used to PM or email him, alerting him to the fact that there was a thread about his lack of service, and would advise him to answer it. But he would disregard that as well. You can't tell TTK what to do. If you do, as in the case of the admin team telling him to get his affairs in order, he will make threats.
  21. There is only one manufacturer. All dealers have access to the same items, so pick a dealer based on your needs and go for it!
  22. They couldn't have picked a better day to switch servers!
