  1. This was a fun little game. I may get rid of a couple of straps in the future and do something fun as well. Thanks
  2. Josh's is very good but it has the wrong helium valve. The the valve from the standard SD and put it on his perfect SD and you have a very good rep.
  3. Inquiring minds want to know. What did I win??
  4. Of course I'll stick with my first guess because it's the correct one . The second one wasn't really a guess. BTW, it looks great on the gen. What I like most about the Woj straps are the semi finished edges. Fully finished edges loose their "paint" over time and unfinished edges soak up water like a sponge.
  5. Dirk was my second guess. The leading edge of the buckle looks smooth like the one's Woj uses. Maybe I'm wrong. My wife says I'm never wrong Yeah, right.
  6. Too easy. It's a Wojeckski. I can tell by the thin ridge on the edges. My favorite for the price. I've got mine on today. I'll snap a pic later.
  7. Heavy metal for me. This combo weighs a ton.
  8. I would think he could affort a decent rep at least. Thank god it's not the Urinor.
  9. Sorry for the hijack. Love the Crazy Horse. Does justice to the massive Arktos.
  10. Here is my fat strap on an Arktos. Greg Stevens Crazy Horse
  11. I too have been asking for this one for a while. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=8028 They are massive watches. The regular size ones look like ladies watches, especially on my meat hooks.
  12. I have no opinion on this strap except that IT IS THE BEST STRAP MADE. It is also the best looking strap. I think it works well with the Arktos.
  13. Some nice goodies. Just got the PO today. Very happy. Needs a good lume and a minor fix of the Omega logo. Fixed the bracelet/clasp gap myself. Much happier with the 42 than the 45mm. The second goody is the Greg Stevens Crazy Horse strap. No doubt the best strap out there. I've had probably 40 straps for my Pams and this is the best. The guy is a craftman.
  14. This one hasn't left my wrist in a week. Love it.
  15. This one is getting a lot of wrist time this week. Had the bracelet on until yesterday when I got this Strapworks Kevlar.
  16. Love this combo. Not the best version of the Arktos (NSEW a little small), but still a solid watch. The only person that can tell that this watch isn't gen is someone else wearing an Arktos. Fat chance of that happening.
  17. This is a common problem on the 063 and the 029. I'm getting a new Palp 2.1 mm crown when there done and I think the problem could be fixed by shortening the crown stem. I'm not a fix-it guy, but The Zigmeister is.
  18. That is one big strap. Looks great. I guess if you want it to fit, custom sizing is the way to go. For that matter HKtan is the way to go.
  19. Ok, who's it from? Gen?????
  20. It should be orange like a new baseball mit. It will have a nice tan patina with frequent use. Just use it
  21. Which Pam models have "spring loaded" crowns? My 196 and 029 have a different feel to the lever. I have an Arktos on the way and am curious what that one will feel like. I seem to recall that my 111 had a spring loaded feel while the others do not. Second questions: When looking sideways at the crown guard, should it be uniform in width. I've looked at the Paneristi site and it appears that on historics the crown guard tapers towards the ends and is thicker in the middle. Is this the case for all Panerai models with crown guards? Just curious. Pics would be great. thanks
  22. Not too hot today, but I'll keep the silicone on one more day. Playing a little tennis and don't want sweat stains on the leather. Btw, I'm proud of my pic. Natural light does the trick.
  23. The finest 111 rep I've seen. Which Puretime model has the long cannon pin? How did you go about getting the crown guard from Jimmy? You did it right. The perfect rep. Congrats
  24. Thank you to everyone for the kind words and support. I had so many good times with Casey. She's been through 3 girlfriends, two wives (I'm still married to the second ), the birth of my daughter, and countless good times. Casey was an amazing dog. I will never forget the good times. Sometimes she was the only one I could turn to in tough times. I'm serious. This is a good place with good people. I wish I knew some of you personally. Stephen
