  1. For me, my Breitling next to my other essential instrument, my blood pressure gauge.
  2. Hour left in Wed here on the left coast. Old pic, but worn today...
  3. Great watches shown. I've had one or another Seiko since I was 13. 41 yrs later I have two. A 5-Series that I've worn once...dont like the cheap looking "gold". Plus, its' 7S26 mov't keeps sheety time. My other, still no chronometer, is to me, a Seiko icon; Made in Japan SKX007J.
  4. Nice Stryder & watch Woof with a star (*) GMT I wore when I my scoot zigged instead of zagged. Hand pushed back into the crow of the watch. Result: scar. Watch ok. Goose f'd up. Couldn't walk for three months due to leg compound fractures.
  5. But, not necessarily in that order
  6. Bulova Precisionist. 15 months later and still not warmed up to it. Accurate as heck. -6s in about a year. Liking that Doxa. May look into one. Nice pics. I'm a lume nut.
  7. 1985 Datejust while eating and googling to figure out how old my Speedy Pro is.
  8. Citizen Solar Moon Phase AP1024 Cal. 8651
  9. Not to this one. My eyes weep at the visual brutality.
  10. Dogs are cool. Couldn't resist. My mutt with my mutt vintage Datejust w/ refinished dial. I'll put this on for tonight to be thread appropriate though.
  11. Been thinking about that as my next. Have a gen Speedy Pro. But I like the PO and cash ain't what it was for me. But what happened to your original post starting this thread Vandal? Cheers... Goose.
  12. I wouldn't sweat the bench test too much. Mine showed it ran fast. When I got it, it was slow. It's on a bench. Real wrist time is another story. Having stated such, it's up to you to determine what your tolerance for acceptance should be. But, I'd take it. Let us know how it turns out. I'm a nut for accuracy and am happy with my 177 from Andrew.
  13. Was going to get a 111. Ended up choosing a H factory 177. Love it. It also has a 6497 mov't. When I received mine from Trusty Time, I think it was about -15s/24h. Adjusted it myself and it is now at +2s/24h. I hope you will be as happy with your watch too. Cheers...
  14. Thanks Determine. Daniel, you can get Flitz on their website (flitz.com). Google and you will find several places with it. Dunno about rubbing off the gold...eventually I'm sure that would occur if ya rubbed enough. Generally, a light buffing with it does a great job though.
