I was able to use all three hands from my UPO (after modding my UPO with mod parts) onto my 42 PO v4. The only thing i had to do was snip the second hand as it was a bit too long to fit properly in the case. Previously, I had an orange insert on the watch but switched it up to green. I kinda did the green a bit more than the orange, but come next month, who knows, I may switch it up again.

Decided to mod my 42 v4 PO with some spare parts I had leftover from my UPO, as well as with Chief's double A/R and a green insert. What you guys think? Im actually digging it more than my fully modded UPO.

I have seen PWC's version and the lume markers on his version are too greenish.

Give Silix a try as well. They have the asian ones for about $100.

I would consider this as the "noob" SMP. Same version that WBK sells on RepGeek.com but this one does have a better HE valve position than the usual SMP reps. Not bad for a $110.

The original 4th gen had the issue with the Omega logo being right on top of the words Omega whereas the "5th edition" basically had it raised a bit.

Looks nice with the bracelet. I may need to build one of these again.

HELP !!!! How in the world do you remove the bezel from a SFSO? I want to replace the crystal, but i believe I read somewhere that the tabs must be removed first. Has anyone removed the tabs? insert? or even the crystal from a SFSO?

Genuine ETA movement, not genuine Omega movement.

You can find an Asian version for cheap with the correct insert. You can also buy the insert on ebay.

How's the second hand sweep? Smooth or somewhat choppy? What about the date font? Compare the date font to other Omegas. Choppy sweeping hand/crappy date font - usually asian Smooth sweeping hand/non-crappy date font - usually eta Hope that helps.

Well, the excuse "my dog ate my homework" didnt work too well for most of us growing, but..... THE DOG TOOK MY WATCH !!!! How do I know you may ask? Because it was hidden under my son's crib with 2 of her bones. (She likes to hide bones from my other dog). Don't ask me how she got the watch (off my nightstand ????), but if this was her revenge for feeling neglected recently (my wife just gave birth to our first child last month), I better hide all my watches !!!! The watch has been found and is safely on my wrist. Thanks to all for your well wishes and kind words. Let this be a lesson to everyone
