  1. I knew you'd like it Victoria : I'm the right in the middle, without moustache...
  2. Actually it seems to be good quality rubber. Not attracting dust, but maybe needs to be cleaned from time to time. I prefer the HBB strap, which is stiffer, but which looks more like plastic than rubber.
  3. Thx so much for your comments, I always love to see that the collection I built is also appreciated by others. As far as the IWC is concerned, and more generally as far as straps are concerned, it's half of the fun for me to find something decent and suitable. As rep straps are most of the time bad to hardly acceptable. Concerning this dark brown (burgundy when much light) strap, it is an alligator pattern, which I paid 25 dollars on ebay. Looks almost like the real think.
  4. Could be an explanation. But if you look at the 15/30/45 markers, the 15 does not look aligned with the crown as well. Or is it me ?
  5. I love the dial layout. It makes it look very different.
  6. I think that this kind of story can happen to anyone of us. As far as I am concerned, there are no board trusted dealers, only member trusted dealers... This means I have stopped buying blindly from those listed here. I am buying from those our members or I have been successful with. Sometimes, they are the boards dealer, often they aren't. I have so many things to tell about them. Don't misunderstand me, I don't blame them (all), because some are really good, and it's true that they at least have the advantage of knowing this business well. The problem of this knowledge is that it can be used against members : promising double AR coating where it's simple, promising unexisting servicing etc... That can't happen with someone who has no clue of what a PAM112 is Same old story. I have permanently 25 watches home, and I bought/resold a lot already : statistically I had less problems with non board dealers, including Tony, until he took an other way (to be confirmed still...).
  7. Sure. He used to have competitive prices on CQout. However, the prices on his websites are much too high, although I understood they can be negociated anytime. But again, the evidences of a change in his business way are not putting me into confidence anymore.
  8. Sad to see a dealer who seemed right going the wrong way... Deleting him from my bookmarks.
  9. That lume really glowes strongly, I don't know what it is, but it's obviously far avor my other reps, including the SFSO or the Montblanc sports chrono. However, I can't confirm (yet) how long it lasts.
  10. Thx so much all for your kind words. I agree with you Yellomen, replica quality has been really increasing and amazing these times. I wonder where it will stop. Not perfect yet, but so close.
  11. China based. He is an apprentice dealer on this board, but as for all dealers, you have to upgrade your membership to access them. (same old matter, sorry...)
  12. Welcome to my new Porsche Design P6340. More pictures here... Although it is always risky and probably partial to use such a denomination, it can almost be considered as a 1:1 replica. Except for the movement of course. The Kalashnikov gen has gone : it will surely have more wristtime with its new owner...
  13. Sorry, the correct model name is P6340... Corrected the title accordingly. Bought it from Watchmark, i.e. it's not an exclusivity of the "Cartel" dealers...
  14. FYI, I bought mine something like 150-180 EUR on ebay... I think Ebay beats Google this time ! It seems to have become more expensive these days : http://cgi.ebay.de/Kalashnikov-Uhr-JUSTICE...7QQcmdZViewItem A used one : http://cgi.ebay.de/Kalashnikov-Chronograph...1QQcmdZViewItem It's a nice piece of watch indeed, even if it gets much less wristtime since my rep collection has increased. The movement is a Swiss ETA quartz. Beware of the size : it is not a big watch. If you don't mind getting a 1 year old (in perfect condition) one, mine can be yours... Still under warranty. PM me if you're interested. [Edit] ETA Quartz, not ISA

That one is 40mm, I find it slightly too small for a chronograph. Between a dressy and a sporty watch... But it's nice
  16. Hi Kuarup, there are indeed dealers selling the Hublot Big Bang between 700 and 1000 dollars, depending on the model. Perfect-clones belongs to these. I would personally advise you get the lite version (lower beat movement and no AR coating), then have it coated by K2222 or Chieftang. You can get an awesome rep far under 500 dollars in this case. Silix sells it, and Watchmark too. All are collectors on this board. To access their section, you have to upgrade your account to "Supporter" however. Hope this helps...
  17. I was not even aware of that while looking at your pics. Seems you have good relationships to get spare parts like these.

    Why not a Porsche Design P6240 ?
  19. I tried to find a Peugeot rep... As not even Ruby had such a rarity, I went for the Porsche J. BTW, have you already coated the P6240 ?
  20. Hi Folks, I'm a bit late on that one, but wished to share my feelings on this awesome replica through some shots... There have been excellent reviews and side by side comparisons, I am not sure that a review from me would bring additionnal information. For this I apologize towards St
  21. I have seen the Porsche on a bracelet at an A.D., believe it or not, it looks much more like a "common" watch. rubber is the nicest way on that one IMO.
