  1. Exactly, as everyone here, I have reported obviou scams, with no results. So I decided to leave this, as : - ebay doesn't care - some buyers will never believed any warning, and will even answer agressively to these : so they are not worth, simply Ebay & Paypal, same result : they listen to themselves exclusively, so I am not unhappy they can get fines or blames. At all !
  2. It's always rewarding to see that my reviews help members to choose a rep
  3. I fully agree with you Mickey This replica is damn accurate ! The only small flaw in this case, which will be mainly noticed if you have both like you did, is this white seconds hand. Even the rep lume is very good. I read on the forum that the manufacturer did not do a double AR, to stick with the gen. And it seems it's been a successful decision.
  4. That all sound to be complicated now Because I see no V2 as I learnt it from Watchmark : the V2 has an engraved rotor, and normally a low beat movement. also it is described as Limited Edition. And the engravings are not that nice. So I think like you, and somehow not like Taka This is not MArk's V2 or ultimate V3 or whatever. He used to have an "unknown" version with screw-down crown. Has one of yours this screw-down ?
  5. I am and have always been a fan of Montblanc watches. Actually this is what brought me to reps. The Timewalker is a very smart design amongst the MB watches (designed by Panerai I read somewhere). My favorite is the Star Series, of which no good rep exist (yet ?) Wear it well !
  6. This short tube problem is worth a poll IMO...
  7. Very interesting. Naive question : will he work on reps ? And... I saw a relumed Seiko
  8. It's true it's quite surpising as a price. Let's get surprised The quartz is not really crappy, just inaccurate IMHO
  9. Well, IMO the old story of this company is not uncompatible with Chinese manufacturing : look at the movements, they are all the same layouts we have in our cheap reps. For more bucks. None are swiss or German movements : no chrono movement, cheap moonphases, faux Tourbillons etc... All are complications you meet on ioffer for 50 dollars. Put anyhting but Ingersoll as a name on the dial, and you will pay the very same watch half the price, Breguet or Patek branded. What I understand is that they don't sell the "dollar watch" anymore. Conclusion : buy the name of a dead company ; use it to sell products that have nothing to do with what was done in the past. And you understand what Ingersoll is.
  10. Hi, it used to be advertized @28.8 kpbh, which indeed sounds wrong when looking at my Asian SFSO. Still a good and reliable movement IMO.
  11. 165 USd is unbeatable for an A7750 based rep. I'd be interested in the results of your transaction. I have the good old (unaccurate) quartz one, and must say I'm happy with it, except with the caseback which looks far better on the new A7750 version.
  12. Hi, it seems you find this only on ebay, as many other "unknown" brands. These are all Chinese made, and the level of our replicas as far as the parts are concerned. With an additionnal QC made by the local sellers. Some use German or French sounding brands to make them considered as German or Swiss made, but they are all Chinese (which is not a bad thing actually).
  13. Hi, I prefer the former SLR version (I don't like the date on this one), the version which had a leather strap and less busy dial. It seems we're back to decent rep prices ?? I don't like the rubber strap shape on this one.
  14. Taka and I want a TUIGA !! Please, Mark, do it for us !
  15. You got it for this pretty good price Taka, but I doubt that there are enough used V1 around to cover the demand. Their owners keep them preciously. Pre-owned is always the best way, and probably even more for reps, as you have a kind of QC before. And if we think a bit deeper, 650 USD for a second-hand (mint) non modded A7750 watch is still insane. Somehow. What I personally don't understand is how has the price of the V1 been multiplied by 2 in less than a year... And how Mark takes 200 USD less on the same V1 (he also sells them if you want one). I guess we all know the answer Ideally this V3 should be sold under 600, to make it 50% of Trusty etc.'s price. I personnally won't pay 700 USD on it. Maybe on a Tuiga I'm glad I chose the V1 lite and had it modded while it was possible.
  16. I'm ready to buy the unsold ones NOW Imagine all the spare parts and movements we could use for projects.
  17. I don't mean that this makes the price difference. Indeed, I don't think that costs so much, and even if one is real CF and the other some imitation, it can't be a question of 300 or more dollars. That's nonsense. I simply think and understood that manufacturer2 cannot get the dial of manufacturer1. So there's no way today to get the deep CF dial from V1 on Mark's special version. For the 300 USD difference between this "ultimate V3" and the "V2" I tested, I have no clue. I'd stay on Mark's words, but I must say that sounds a bit complicated. I would easisly understand that there is an additionnal cost as this is a special order, made upon request, with some changed specifications (remember our first discussions about what to add and what to change). It seems no other dealer carry this "V3" as we see it here. "made to measure" (with standard parts) could be the beginning of an explanation for the price difference. I'm sure that Mark had to buy a whole batch of them to get it assembled as per his indications.
  18. I'd love to see this one for less than 700 indeed, ideally less than 600 (remember, that was the price of Trusty/Joshua/Angus' RG at the beginning) Still your V2 (or call it now V3) is cheaper than the other offers, but lacks the deep CF dial. It seems that the best dial is only available from the 1st maker. Regarding the low beat movement, I always insist on the fac that it is NOT a bad movement, just different from the high beat. There's a bad habit here to say that it's risky to buy low beat A7750s : that's wrong. (see why in my signature). This version in Tuiga flavour with closed caseback would be also close to an ulitmate HBB, for much cheaper than the insane 1000 or 1100 USD asked by other dealers. Please Mark, make it if you have the possibility with this alternative rep manufacturer
  19. Thx. I have put a black Teju strap in the meantime, and I think that's the colour I will keep for this one.

    Hi, we're missing nice Glassh
  22. Thx AJ, both pieces I got had a short stem. The one I have takes not more than half a turn to lock. I'm afraid that's a flaw that concerns ALL of them. As you see, I'm lucky with the DW alignment... so far
