  1. Hi, just seen this : "Andrew's" version for 330 USD from Watchmark. http://www.timeshops.net/Omega_Hour_Vision...6_1358-3258.htm No comment. When it is 250, I might have a look
  2. [Edit] Sorry I read half your post. I think it will be difficult to get the closed caseback separately. If it comes, it will be from the V1 factory, and we don't know if parts are compatible between V1 and V2.
  3. So you mean you're not filthy rich ?? That's a good reason for me to click on this Exactreplica link then
  4. Did I misunderstand you ? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=49526 A lot is maybe not the right word
  5. I don't have I.E. on my Mac And I don't have banners but fix links to Exactreplicas etc... @Corgi : THX !!
  6. Thx for the info Corgi, I haven't found how to... Any tip ?
  7. Used to... but not anymore. I know these ads are bringing a lot to the forum (Admin said it once), but I feel uncomfortable having regular links to Exactreplicas or others, whereas they don't comply with what we expect from dealers here. Sorry to have to say that.
  8. I'm now wondering about the modification of this movement...
  9. Hi, it seems that the watch is not raising a large interest. Usually Montblanc watches are quite absent from the discussions. I am a fan Thread strated here too : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=74244 I wonder if there is a black one.
  10. I fully agree that Quartz is an ideal option for the seconds@6 buggy 7750. I tried a quartz Portuguese and the only thing that prevented me to keep it at the end was...its size ! For the HBB quartz, I may think it has the soft rubber band ? Not the "resilient" ?
  11. That's why I ave a preference for the standard Star Chrono. I find it more balanced... No decent rep though.
  12. Well, I just decided to make a pause in buying reps to concentrate on mods. It seems that wish lasted less than a day. Hate it or love it, I'm sure Montblanc fans will react. After the Sport Chrono and Timewalker series (chrono or GMT), the rep manufacturers bring us the Star Chrono in special edition. Personally I'm still waiting for the "standard" Star Chrono, which I find less busy. Maybe it will follow ? However this one seems to be very accurate at a first glance. The bracelet and case are probably the Sport Chrono's ones. Is this a modofied 7750 or a configuration we already know ? The star insigna on the gen is surely a diamond And I take this opportunity to link to the newest Montblanc babe : hxxp://www.montblanc.fr/products/special_sihh_2008.php#A10000 It seems that more and more manufacturers go to "home-made" movements, which will definitely create a gap against rep manufacturers. A one pusher chrono
  13. I'm regularly buying straps from the US and selling my unworn reps there. It works both ways for me, but must be registered (costs + 4 EUR from France) and seems quite cheap from the US. Is this just bad luck ?
  14. Needs maybe a canon pinion upgrade, no ? And... *cough* ... How's the lume ? Is the marker @6 horizontal... or fallen down ?
  15. Well, the watch will be lighter for sure. The OS20 layout means : - ticking seconds @6 - the subdial @9 stands for minutes of the stopwatch feature - the main seconds hand is working with the stopwatch (you can see it normally at 12 on all pics) : so it won't be an obvious tell. I don't know quartz movements with seconds@9, that would be very interesting as it could clone the 7750 behaviour Yes, the ticking seconds @6 will be a tell for experts, but it's less noticeable than if the big one ticked. I bought my Navitimer from Tony (a while ago) and I remember TeeJay relates always good experiences. However several members complained about him. What seems clear is that he has a large business and should solve the issues (bad model ?) if any. If you're really not sure, I personally would recommend Watchmark. But it's only my humble opinion Here's the gen Breitling Bentley Motors T If the Quartz rep's rotating bezel (ring?) is as on my Navitimer, you might have good surprises : it's really tight and gives a much better feeling than on some of my former cheap reps that always had a loose bezel. For that price you don't take many risks, and I'm sure that if you link Tony's Breitling to Watchmark (for example ) he will just offer you the same price, if not better. But be precise in your inquiry and ask for some pictures before shipment, to check if it's at least the right model he's sending. BTW, which is the right caseback ?
  16. Well oiled is difficult to say. I dare to think that a bit more attention is brought in producing such a complicated movement. Besides, it's a Seagull, which I also trust somehow more, knowing their other movements. Yes, all is polished in the tourbillon, and as you can see on the display caseback, a pretty lovely cote de Gen
  17. Hi, I belong to those who think there are good quartz around, I mean with a nice case (see my Tag Aquaracer and Breitling Navi). Of course, the subdial layout is wrong due to a Miyota OS20 layout, but IMO this layout is less important than the built quality in a rep. Here are some I found on CQout from Tonyxkf, although he has aquired an average reputation these days. (there are versions with a crappy caseback, but I think the ones I mention are OK, although I don't know if close to the gen or not) Maybe you would like to ask Watchmark or Ruby to hunt them for you. http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=3590750 http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=3569806 http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=3647908 Add one of the good Ruby's rep strap, and I think you have a nice inexpensive BB. That one is from Mark's webstore (same as third from Tony) : http://www.timeshops.net/Breitling_for_Ben...nograph_985.htm I'm just pointing to those who look fair, again, I have no clue if they are faithfull to the gen.
  18. Really really nice one Vric, I can't see the movie. [Edit]Works now
  19. I have a kevlar on mine, as I just prefer it this way. I agree on the average finish of the thing however. I don't wear it all the time, but after 10 times wearing it already shows marks, and I'm not the one hitting my watch at every corner... For Kevlar, there seem to be only one way : genuine.
  20. Here's my APRO with K2222's new AR coating... That has changed the watch so much that I will now hunt for a good leather strap to make it perfect... Indeed the bracelet looks like the weak point now.
  21. I was afraid of your answers. Not for me I'm afraid...
