  1. The black ceramic Formula one with the diamond bezel is almost perfect. definitely recommend this for the wife, mine wears hers more than any other watch.
  2. Nothing new from me. It's blazing hot beach weather and that calls for Sub every time. Too bad I'm stuck at work
  3. Really enjoyed this, great photography, great music.
  4. Agreed that the watch would look much better on leather or even on the bracelet. I don't really like rubber straps so that could be my personal bias on the subject. The Swiss 7750 is a direct swap, as already mentioned, the movement is pretty much identical to the A7750 that is already in your watch. As far as the QC pics go, the watch looks good, I have the stainless bezel model and it has a major flaw that this one does not have.
  5. If you want something a little dressier I would go with a Calibre 16 Carrera - Date only. The day date is a very sporty watch and a little on the large size while the smaller date only Carrera's are a more classic 41mm. There is a large selection of these models available and they are very well repped, perhaps not as a good as the Day-Date though. The Day Date is a fantastic watch though and looks great, even if it is a little sporty. I would have to agree with Andrew, the black is definitely the way to go and I would avoid the titanium model as it is even more sporty and less suitable as a dress watch. Here is mine.
  6. I have a good mix of both, I really enjoy the variety that I can have with my reps while I prefer the obviously improved quality of a Gen. I've had a few reps fail recently and it is starting to get frustrating but the total investment savings definitely outweighs the risk of buying reps for me. Even if I had the money, I would not be purchasing only Gen watches, the value in reps is just too hard to pass up and looking down at the nightstand trying to decide between a submariner, a planet ocean, a PAM or a Carrera is a novelty that I quite enjoy.
  7. Some nice stuff on the wrists today. Good ol' Sub for me.
  8. Had to change it up after the clasp of my planet ocean failed wearing my 116610 today.
  9. Love that Steinhart Mil Sub SGT. Rotation for me today, Pro Diver at work, back on the bracelet Planet Ocean after I punch out.
  10. same old same old for me. And when I leave work for the night.
  11. Not sure that I have seen anything quite like this
  12. Invicta 8926 in the shop Planet Ocean for the rest of the day
  13. Simple social comentary on people wearing obscenely large watches, also funny. I'd say that I don't understand the trend but then I love my DSSD and 45mm PO's which I don't consider too large. For me, 50mm, 55mm, these sizes are ridiculous and found in cheap (but still overpriced) fashion watches found in mall kiosks. For others however the Omega Aqua Terra at 41.5mm is over sized and looks chunky and poorly proportioned compared to the 38.5mm size. I personally won't wear anything at less than 40mm, any smaller and it is just too small for my wrists and I am not a big man. I also won't wear anything much bigger than 45mm but I don't think this is too large for my wrists. Watch size is a personal preference, like how your suit is tailored just remember too small is not the same as slim fit I love hearing arguments for watch size as there is always someone who will argue that the watch that is the perfect size for you is, in their eyes, ridiculously over sized, so RWG, Let's have it!
  14. I think the watch you want is mostly dependent on the factory but most dealers carry just about everything as far as I know.
  15. When did Tony get added to the dealers list, as I recall he was not a "TD' anyway, just thinking out loud... If you can pull it off, I recommend the DSSD, of course BK for a source (I regret not going with him) This watch has incredible wrist presence!
  16. I find it strange that this watch even needs a petition like this, James Bond wore it in a movie, Done! Rep it! Still waiting for the 41.5mm gen to be released stateside, word on the street has it coming out in the next couple of weeks.
  17. As I understand it, the factories will produce reps in a wide range of qualities from the same facility while some factories specialize in high end reps and others will make mostly low end cheap reps. There is some talk that the factories that produce some of the high end replica watches are also building fashion watches for companies like Invicta, giving them access to the equipment required to build a watch of decent quality. Not sure what truth there is to that but it is something that I have heard before. This would give them legitimate cover to operate under while producing counterfeit goods on the side.
  18. At work with my trusty beater
  19. Omega Planet Ocean 45.5mm still very much at home on my wrist.
  20. Been wearing this bad boy since Dominion Day
