Sounds like there's some dust in the transfer gears, you'll need to remove everything and service the movement.

15min exactly? Is the chronograph engaged/ running? Seems odd...
-
Try winding the watch up and see whether it is holding the PR and runs beyond 15min.

Is this A "Tell", FC V3 Buckle
buffedupboy replied to panerai153's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
The edge is polished to give the buckle a 2-tone finish. The top surface is sand blasted. Titanium can be high polished easily, it scratches up easily as well as the surface is soft. I am not sure what you mean by an applied material to mimic titanium. I suppose you are talking about a coating. That could be possible but it's easy to tell as titanium is much lighter than steel. You can actually also polish the understide/ inner side and rear edge, but it's alot more work. -
Well, only thing that this thread confirms is A) David WONG is asian, MD2020 is not, and C) the human race is fawked.... Now, where can I find Daytona parts!!!???

Seems like the rep scene is a bad alibaba movie.....

So.... now that DW is gone off the face of the earth, where else can we get parts to build Paul Newman daytonas?

I think your answer is: Why bother replacing a billet when you can just gold plate.... They can't find CuSn8 in China in the right thickness and importing material into china is a hassle. Note that Adrian's 'bronze' cases are red brass, not actual Bronze.

I'm not sure why there are so many people repeating this over and over. I want to state once and for all, there is AR coating on the gen glass. I know this because customers bring in their gen watches to get the AR removed after it is scratched...... can't really scratch an AR coating if it isn't there no? The coating is very very thin though which is why many people who do gen vs rep comparisons think that there isn't any on there.
-
Gen has AR on both sides, just that it is a very very thin coating. It can be scratched and hence buffed off. Hence it does look like there isn't any, but that is what gives it that quality.

Please note there are 2-3 makers of what you guys are referring to as the A7750. Both have parts that are not compatible.

AP ROO NAVY- needs an update

Please take a macro closeup of that crown. Unfortunately you won't be able to fit a gen on as the threading is different. -
Gauging interest for a Mini Mille Metri homage

That watch is awesome. We may look at doing that if this titanium version is successful. -

Yes, full titanium, shot peened, water proofed to 100atm, 6mm plexi, 24mm click bezel/ press released. Smaller than your regular ennebi at 45mm diameter, 24mm lugs. -

Did up some illustrations on what it will look like; -
Your auto winding mechanism is dirty, chances are the reversing wheel is jammed.

Is there any interest here for a mini mille metri caseset/ homage/ sterile dial? Note: This has been posted on a couple of other forums and at this stage we are only gauging interest in this project.

Hhmmm.... don't remember a washer, but if there is one, then it probably goes on the date changing gear?

Who did you get it from?
