  1. I made it a matching money clip.
  2. I asked him a couple times in an email but he never really responded to that specific question. I didn't see any pictures of bracelets in his photobucket so I just assumed he didn't have any.
  3. Thanks. I just found that in a post of his on RWI. Guess I didn't look hard enough first.
  4. I have a current deal pending with him and I have no way of contacting him. Can anyone help? Davidsenjpn@yahoo.com is not working.
  5. It means Panerai style but not fake, so no Panerai branding...
  6. Cool. You finally got it. Congrats. Looks good. Can you let me know your answer Re: my PM. I need to decide in the next day or two if I should place an order. Thanks.
  7. Cool. Good job. Here are a couple I made:
  8. Are there any fitment issues between the various cases and bracelets available? I only ask because I thought I remembered hearing about this. Also, are there any preferred Ebay sellers for this bracelet? What do you think is a reasonable price?
  9. I am trying to put together an homage watch. I really want to find an affordable, sterile metal bracelet to fit a Davidsen case that is brushed on the oustide, polished down the middle. Any suggestions?
  10. Damn. This just reminds me I am waiting on my 2Dark watch box and still trying to find a Hamilton X-Wind to buy. But yours looks great.
  11. I would find out who serviced it. Then contact that person. I was pretty sure that particular A6497, swan neck and dagger was at 28000 like gen, where as the ETA 6497 was 21,600. Am I wrong?
  12. The quality is there for a basic, inexpensive factory made strap. That isn't my thing so I don't own any. Last Davidsen watch I got, I gave the two straps away. I couldn't sell them for $15 shipped each. I think if you step up to a Hirsch strap or perhaps a Don strap, you will pay a little more but get a lot more. Again this is my opinion based on my preference. After that, there is a whole world of custom straps out there. You can check the sales forum here, Paneristi, etc. One word of caution though: once you get started buying custom straps and nice buckles, you won't be able to stop and it gets quite expensive. Now with respect to ostrich and shark, BOB is a good option because of price.
  13. Can you give me any details or suggestions about how to file down the dial to make it fit?

  15. http://search.stores.ebay.com/Naples-Watch...9811196QQsofpZ0 Curious about quality, and customer service/QC and whether the cases fit Davidsen dials.
  16. Cool project.
  17. Definitely need a fiddy at some point.
  18. Great pictures.
  19. Looks great.
  20. What about the combo brushed/polished Panerai style metal bracelets floating around out there on Ebay and elsewhere? (The ones that don't say Panerai on them) Do these universaly fit rep cases or do certain bracelets fit only certain cases?
  21. I love mine. I know Davidsen has started to make a big pilot with a small auto movement and central second hands. I think it is a 24mm strap as opposed to most of the 22mm lug widths.
  22. Thanks for the info. I want to fit this base white dial into some relatively inexpensive case: http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff85/ja...pg?t=1206468696
  23. Angelus is a cool movement. Rare, and very expensive. Perhaps some of its appeal is the price and rarity, I don't know.
