  1. Andy, if I knew you had a 2892 for sale I'd have said to Domi not to service but replace the movement. Anyway, as being said I'm thinking to buy a gen movement so if it's going to be still available in few months well... I'll probabily take it. My wallet need to get some rest right now
  2. Railmaster .... uhmm that name rings a bell... ohhh you mean this Domi just serviced this as well but I have been considering to buy a gen 2892 for long time. Too bad I'm broke now Andy, by the way, do you still have the AT team? If i remember right you had one gen and 2-3 reps (i'm aware you sold your railmaster).
  3. Damn it not sure why but I cannot enjoy my reps anymore unless Domi makes some mods on them. It's getting frustrating a little bit. This is my latest franken, it's not a popular Omega line but I do love it!! It's such a understated watch, classy all the way!! I'm no photographer unfortunately, Thanks for looking
  4. as usual... hit or miss
  5. Agreed, I'll try to replace it with a hv from a 45mm UPO. I have to admit the gen bezel makes a huge difference.
  6. So glad to hear that, can't wait to see the result, thanks watcher
  7. There were a coupule on the old forum, not sure they are available also on RWG.
  8. Fixed Here was the problem as you both probably suggested to me It's very easy if you know what must have done
  9. Stem's right. I'll check the lever tomorrow , thanks Justasgood
  10. I have reassembled at least 4 times No joy so far.
  11. Not sure I understood but i'll have a try tomorrow Thanks Andy
  12. What an idiot I am 2824, well actually it's the seagull copy
  13. Uhmm... this is not the first time I screw it. Sometimes i can fix easily but this time... I probabily pushed too ctrong the release butten and after I was able to wind the movement but not to set date and time. AFter my fix I was able to set averything but not to wind the movement. Crazy, uh? Any tip would be very appreciated. Thanks
  14. zorg, I do agree with you but once you have all the spechs CousinsUk is not that bad.
  15. First of all: does your watch have a ETA/ETA clone movement? ETA 2824 should be ok. You can buy the movement from Cousinsuk or Ofrei if you're placing a PO for Omega spares. Just curious, is it convenient to order from Ofrei Us? Just wondering if Customs will charge you something like it happens in other countries.
  16. WOW! I'm sure i would have screwed everything up
  17. How the hell did you clean the dial of the polishing compound?
  18. crooked markers crooked logo not aligned inner bezel wobbly crown low movement power reserve
  19. That white dial is wonderful
  20. Yeah, gap's till there Thanks for chiming in and sharing, you just saved me money and time wasted
  21. Migge, interesting Have you tried to use that bracelet with the rep endlinks? Maybe with a better first links the "big gap problem" would be fixed...
  22. PO chrono afaik comes with a much better bracelet 45mm UPO has a better bracelet too
  23. No reply so far, I strongly doubt he's going to reply at all. I have an idea: we could share the cost of this bracelet and have it shipped to someone in the USA (seller is located in Us)to test it and keep it http://cgi.ebay.com/Stainless-Steel-Watch-Band-Omega-Planet-Ocean-20mm-/310294962032?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483f055f70 If we are in 5 it's about 10$ each. Who's in?
  24. I'm afraid he had one piece like that but you never know, try to shoot a pm to Taka.
  25. I replaced the crystal in my SMP from Mary with a coated crystal from Takashi not sure though if it was an aftermarket crystal or a rep crystal. I'd bet a gen crystal fits that case.
