  1. That's a good idea, I'll try next days after opening the caseback (otherwise i cannot remove the hv crown).
  2. Glad to hear that, I just got mine and i noticed the HV is not flush with the case Is it the same on your watch?
  3. Amazing, kudos to you!!
  4. Apparently the 5th gen is more accurate as it needs the gen gasket as well if i got it right. mojako, was the installation of the gen bezel very painful?
  5. bad news about the HV, the rep hv is indecent to say the least You got a great watch there
  6. Damn it! I have the same watch and I am scared this is gonna happen to mine as well. Not sure there's an easy fix, save replacing the ss bracelet with a strap (not a very good option to me) Keep us posted how you're going to fix it.
  7. Interesting question, I was wondering the same
  8. Interesting question, i'd like to know too
  9. Great improvement with the last mod!! I'll probabily do the same with a very good rep pearl
  10. OMG!!!!
  11. Tag H website pics are totally inaccurate sometimes. Rep Carrera has the correct inner tachimeter and "05" is placed where it should be (i.e above the 5-minute marker) Enjoy one of the most accurate rep
  12. Amazing pics, really Thank you
  13. Very true, it's a matter of luck most of the times. I will order the watch and if I am satisfied I'll order a gen crown and hv and I'll have the crystal coated. As for the dial i do hope the greysh printings are not too obvious.
  14. I guess we have the same opinion, I reckon on the 5th gen there are more tells BUT thankfully they are fixable (crown, hv and AR). Also dial is fixable but as you said it would be too costy and at that price point a 2nd-hand gen would make much more sense. I just disagree about AR: i had a 4th gen for some months and AR on mine was almost non existent, it was just an annoying blue hue.
  15. There are flaws for sure but i wouldn't say the 4th gen was better. 1. This can be cheaper if you buy A21j models. 2. Lugs look better and more accurate than previous model, 5th gen has got also sn engraved on it 3. bracelet gap should be less evident (dunno for a fact though) 4. AR sucks on both 5. Dial is flawed on both (better logo on the 5th gen but worse writings, if you are looking for perfect accuracy you need a gen dial) 6. True, crown and hv were better on the 4th gen 7. pearl is definetely better on the 5th gen
  16. P4GTR, couple of questions for you mate: - how about AR? - is the bracelet number engraved upsidedown? This is from MR and it looks like writings is not white Maybe you got a watch with a different dial, lucky you. thanks
  17. You can try at some AD's. They are used to sell spare inserts
  18. Yeah, not too bad at all for 128$ Thanks Sql_pl
  19. Have you got positive or negative impressions from this new watch? I should be receiving the same watch very soon.
  20. It looks pretty good! I'm just wondering if a bezel swap is doable, numbers are too close to the ext edge How about the rehaut engraving? Is it alligned? I suppose we can just brush the rehaut and solve the problem thanks for sharing
  21. I just rechecked old reviews and in some pics you can see the different color: numbers 6,9,12 are white, other writings are closer to silver Is it that obvious in the flesh?
  22. Tribal, i almost forgot, how about the bracelet gap there was in the 4th gen? do we still have that flaw here?
  23. I'm afraid it's a flaw all new PO's have .... very strange nobody noticed so far DAMN IT! So now there's no way I can wear it without a brand new gen dial.
  24. Great watch, it just needs AR'ed crystal and a gen ETA date wheel.
  25. Gosh...sorry to hear that, I just ordered one for myself mate, post some pics if you can
