  1. Thanks mate, Ill probably place a PO very soon
  2. Great pics, thanks for sharing
  3. Agreed, it looks very good, especially the blue color of markers and hands. Usually they completely screw the tone of the blue...not in this case.
  4. First you should upload your pics on some photo sharing website like photobucket and then post links here Hope it helps
  5. yeah, a picture would be appreciated
  6. Couldn't agree more..... for example I fall in love all the time for the seconds central hand. The rep hand is completely white whereas the gen hand has a silver tube. Love it!!
  7. Aqua Terra.... movement issues... not that I know of. There are many models in the Aqua Terra line, Would you post a pic of the watch we are talking about?
  8. Interesting, I wish they could release a very good MK XVI rep with ss bracelet
  9. Ry good catch, this is imho one of the best rep out of the box. Impressive accuracy to the gen and overall quality. Besides you pearl is very good: well centered and not too low. Wear it well!
  10. WOW Even better than the 3717!!! You got very good taste bud
  11. Mine says hi
  12. Ry True, most of the times watches sold by different dealers are exactly the same, especially 7750 versions Ry I think it's a straight swap but SMPs with A 7750 (chronos) come with a pretty decent sapphire crystal, no need to replace it imho. You might consider to have the crystal AR coated, that would be a big improvement in my book (but inaccurate for the SMP chrono old model, gen has got no AR treatment)
  13. Mary's SMP afaik is still the best SMP out of the box. Good bracelet, good HV position, SN engraved on the lug and not too bad crown guards. Needed upgrades: a new crystal (Mary's SMP comes with a crystal with loupe effect) and a gen dial imho. I should still have a spare sapphire crystal somewhere... if you need it, just drop me a line and we can cut a deal. Good luck with your search
  14. I'm not a big fan of Panerai but I'd say the second one all the way
  15. Hi there, you might be interested in this hxxp://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=149313 TAG Carrera Dial/movement/some hands. $65.00 Movement to be tested..probabily not fully working Hope it helps
  16. The website you posted use gen pictures
  17. damn it!! Too late now Thank you though chronoluvvv
  18. Guys, I'd need some help from one of you in CONUS. I'm about to purchase a spare dial on Ebay and it would be great if someone here might receive it for me and then forward to me in Eu (seems like the seller is not very happy to ship the dial outside the USA) No need to say all expenses are cover and any risk is fully on me. If someone is willing to help, please just send me your full address by PM. Thank you in advance
  19. Sorry to say but I don't think so. You'd be the first and only one to have a white writing on his 42mm 5th gen PO. Unless they printed a new dial it's not very likely.
  20. The most disappointing rep I have bought is a Tag Heuer Carrera non chrono, ETA version. Plain, anonymous watch.... It wasn't even cheap, sold in few days.
  21. Send it back if you're picky enough. I personally couldn't live with that dial.
  22. It happened the same to me although I currently own no rolex watch. I thought rolexes were overpriced (ok, they are ), overestimated. Now, after buying sevreral reps, I reckon they have a unique understated beauty that lasts forever and almost perfect measures. At the same time they attract too much attention and I wouldn't be comfortable wearing a rolex rep. My next Rolex needs to be a gen.... As for your question, I'd say go ahead, sell part of your collection if you don't wear and enjoy your watches that often. Now I'm curious, would you please list the watches you wear the most?
  23. Same here
