  1. I have planned to do the same, looking forward to seeing if we can use the 20mm bracelet somehow
  2. Great job, now we just need to find a ss bracelet for that beauty
  3. I'm scared my IWC Gst or Slevin might lose a pusher, last time I opened the caseback I checked inside: there were screws but apparently It wasn't possible to screw them fully in (screw keeps turning if you use a screwdriver) and it wasn't possible to remove the screw either. How can i be sure they are safe? I'm aware it sounds like a stupid question but believe me they weren't working like common screws.
  4. nice watch..curious to see the price though. If I take a look at last releases I see crazy prices
  5. Last time I heard him was the day before RG went down, after receiving a gen Mark XVI spitfire dial
  6. I have known him for a couple of months tops, he's not so active on RWG so no surprise you have never heard of him
  7. Hacra, is one of the few members who can source gen IWC parts. Great guy to deal with.
  8. I'm also very interested, I have a gen Mark XVI spitfire dial waiting for a case set and a ss bracelet
  9. I'm afraid you're right...they will not release the 41mm version...too bad is the perfect size for me
  10. Andy, agreed, despite the flaws I might consider buying it if it had a proper datewheel.
  11. I DO love it, I might even like it better than the PO
  12. The new model wins hands down imho
  13. Great job buddy!! I'm not sure I wouldn't be brave enough to mod a gen insert like that
  14. can't wait to read and see more, thanks so much for sharing
  15. i'd love to see some pics
  16. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tag-Heuer-LINK-Automatic-Chronograph-42-mm-Black-Dial-/251041782395?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3a73419a7b Does it look gen to you? Pushers look like in the early rep version to me, i'm no expert though
  17. Same here, my movement runs great the only issue is the subdial hand at 6-o-clock... annoying to say the least I've got no balls to dismantle the movement and fix it, i'm afrais i wouldn't be able to complete successfully such a complicate task....it's not like fixing a keyless work on a 2824
  18. I respectfully disagree, I love mine
