Hi Novum, no problem, I got the gen dial from Hacra, he was a very active member here and on RepGeek as well, not anymore these days though.
I paid the dial 160€ if I remember right.
Also the spare bracelet wasn't that cheap...70usd roughly but for me it's an essential improvement
Folks, I would need some advise where to go shopping in Hong Kong.
Is there a very convenient mall or a place you would suggest?
Leather bags (good quality, not branded are fine as well), shoes and jackets.
No watches, you got it right .... it's not me who's going to Asia.
Thank you so much
6.7" wrist
IWC Mark XVI Spitfire - 38mm diameter
Omega Aqua Terra 39mm diameter
Omega SMP chrono 41mm diameter
Rolex Submariner ceramic bezel 40mm diameter if I remember right
Omega Aqua Terra 39mm diameter
IWC Aquatimer Slevin 42mm diameter
IWC 3717 42mm diameter
As most of us here I have the opposite problem,I like all my watches very much but I just can't find one watch that I love so much to get rid of the whole collection
I wish I could say..."this is my grail, no need to own other watches"
Thanks for sharing your impression, I have a 6.8" wrist and despite I'm attracted by the same PAM 005, I'm concerned it might be too big for me.
I have tried on a Black seal, I love the aestetic of the watch but it looked odd on me.
Or maybe it's just me not used to watches > 42mm.
Wear it well, it's a wonderful rep
Exactly my thought: I'll try to source that spare dial to use it in my standard 42mm PO. Nothing else.
Agreed on this too.
I don't reckon we will ever see a very accurate out of the box ceramic PO/SMP and there's no chance to get gen parts (not to my knowledge and anyway I don't even want to think about prices if it was doable)
hey cougar1, is the finishing/color of the dial accurate compared to the gen dial?
Are raised numbers raised enough or they look almost flat?
I start to like this dial A LOT
Thanks
For me neither but I swear it was much colder and It was mid July.
The weather was perfect though, not even one cloud in the sky, not humid at all, not too hot.
I call them "old" because they have been available for years and now there are new, worse, versions for sale.
They should be still available somewhere, I know for a fact Josh sold two of them few weeks ago to some RWG buddies.
I was in Croatia for holidays 2 years ago: Korcula and Miljet are wonderful places.
It's not a place where you can find easily sandy comfortable beaches (rocky beaches most of the times) but there's an atmosphere very difficult to find somewhere else in south europe.
I have to admit I was positively surprise.
Just one note, the sea water was freaking cold compared to the water temperature of south Italy... must be a matter of tides.
