You ll get used to it or you ll stop buying reps soon there are QC issues and small flaws almost all the time, you got to deal with that and sometimes it's very annoying.
I had to get some basic watchmaking skills and tools to regularly fix or replace parts in my watches, no other option unless you have a local watchmaker you can rely on.
Yes, not bad although the bracelet finishing is not the best (better finishing in Grid's QC pics).
Black datewheel seems better though, not so thin.
AR is not good enough for a black dial, we need to get it coated once again and at this price point is not nice.
They are both excellent reps imho just a little overpriced.
Me too, the gen bracelet is amazing, I wouldn't mind grabbing a spare bracelet for my old 39mm AT or for my 42mm PO ...different thickness might be an issue though.
I hope this is not against the rules here but I wanted to share something with you:
On RWI sunnydale started to gather subscription for his double side AR run (bluish hue). He is located in Europe.
He needs to know in advance the diameter of the watch we want to send him to be sure the provider has holders for the right size/diameter.
sunny dale sold on RWI many coated crystals for the 42mm and 45mm PO, I bought one and was satisfied.
Price per crystal for the AR service 63usd + shipping back.
I don't post any link untill a moderator approves this.
No doubt it wears larger than a Planet Ocean or SMP.
I was about to pull the trigger on a Mark XVII (41mm too and available in the cheap 21j version) but the AT looks overall better good looking and I love the super comfortable brushed bracelet.
As cougar1, I ll also be waiting a while for the 39mm version although the Captain's AT is extremely tempting at the moment.
Uhmm... Captain's seems the best of the lot so far, if hands color is close to be accurate we have a winner.
I do hope they will release the 39mm AT too, blue or black is fine for me.
