  1. I have tried to source gen IWC parts for my beloved GST too to no avail.
  2. Hi Olly, not yet, I did the mod once in the past and it works well (touching wood..). As being said, I am just wondering if it will be extremely complicated when a new tube needs to be fitted again in the case. However I don't see plenty of options here.
  3. I have the same epoxy but I am wondering what if the tube needs to be replaced in the future. Will the epoxy make the fix extremely complicated? Just asking..
  4. If you can remove the movement block and the crystal, you can easily remove the insert from the inside softening the glue in warm water. I did and It was a very simple task.
  5. It would be intersting to know the correctway to remove and install a gen tube. Any advice? Do you use epoxy?
  6. Happy to hear you got the money back..less happy to see the guy is still a member of this forum
  7. Thanks buddy but I need a gen tube I ll place an order to Cousins

    Ofrei order

Hey lloyd, it would be great. Not sure yet but I probably will have a US address where you can ship to (sister of a friend of mine). Please let me know via private message if it's ok for you. Thank you
  10. Hello Everyone, is there someone interested to order something from Ofrei? I am in Eu and I would need some support from someone based in USA. I am willing to buy 1 date indicator only OME-2500-DD#13 http://www.ofrei.com/page1596.html Any help appreciated. Thank you
  11. I need one spare for my old 42mm PO. Before placing a PO from Cousins..maybe someone has some spares to sell. Thanks
  12. I heard it is not the best method but I did with success several times. It should be ok, as long as you install the tube properly and apply a sufficient quantity of epoxy. The more difficult part for me was to remove the rep tube from the case (difficulty varies a lot from watch to watch)
  13. The tube can replaced but you need to source a spare tube, not sure it will be easy. Try to source first a new crown from one of our dealers and see if it works (it happen to me so maybe the issue was the crown...just a guess)
  14. In all honesty I prefer the old Slevin, (even though I ll put mine for sale soon)
  15. Quality wise I would say go for the LMPO. As for the movement, regardless of the model (2824 vs 2836), it's hit or miss in the rep world. 2824 and 2836 are equally reliable if properly oiled and serviced ...which is not always the case for replicas. The movement (2824) in my LMPO works extremely well but it's luck of the draw.
  16. It s been under my radar for months...still not sure about the dial color..black is tempting but needs AR coating BADLY
  17. Nope, rep on the right. Gen Moonwatch in the middle Gen reduced on the left
  18. No success so far, I found 16610LN but no 16610LV hands
  19. Thanks ssteel, irolexu I ll have a look
  20. Hello All, I am looking for a set of hands (maxi hands) for a DG2813. Do you know where I can source it? I had a look at Raffle Time but they do not have the "fatter" merc hands. Happy New Year to Everybody Thank you R
  21. Nice watch, but as said a dw swap is mandatory. I would go for the non chrono Portofino, more accurate imho
