After CNY we will find out the what the factories plan to do about the 45mm AR issue.

Wow Collin looks great! Nice pics!

Hey guys this is one of our favorite TD's opinion on this thread. I won't divulge his name because its not important. Just take note
the funny thing at this stage replicas are already so well made but there are way too many nit pickers in the forums... thats one of the reason I stay off there and keep my mind on servicing customers who are good and understand replicas are replicas... JOshua and I have come a long way since 10-11 years back and we rather put our efforts on making new stuff with factories than to boast in the forums who is making what and posting information there... because alot of IP police is lurking in the forums and targeting dealers and factories down.....
Sometimes its better to keep quiet and stay low profile.
So enjoy the hobby fellas a rep is a rep AR or not

Yea l luv the orange also but was hoping for the durability of the ceramic! I hate when the metal bezels get scratches. I went for the 45mm cause I luv the larger watches 44mm and up. I think the smaller watches look really dated. To classic for me although I own a few my fav has got to be the JLC NSD!

Sorry no pumpkin bezel just numbers. The pumpkin bezel is not ceramic so it was a deal breaker for me.

Mines cleared Chicago customs yesterday. I should have my hands on it by Tuesday
-
I saw it at Costco too MD. The rep is dead on!

Tags is lackluster and boring. It's 15mins was over in the 90's......

Well here we are Toro seven years later and the Planet Ocean saga continues!
-
Matt what TD did you buy from?
-
Not to go off topic, but I've been looking for one of these too. Where did you get yours? You got any photos of it?
They weren't available for the longest! Demand was high so they remade it. Got mine from trusty and its dead on super rep! Must have for any collection!

Yea it is a shame but the bezel dot is more center on the 45mm and I like larger watches so lesser of two evils I guess???
-
I know I just copped a banana Seawolf and luvin it! Looks like a gen crystal!
-
@Bam where can I get a true double sided AR crystal? Do you know if a gen will fit?
-
I just looked at the pics and thanks to BAM for explaining to me in simple terms. I see the difference!!!!
-
Point taken BAM I'm a noob to the forum and still learning. Thanks for the info!
-
Andrew at Trusty told me he personally knows the maker and both 42mm and 45mm have the exact same crystal with identical AR coating. Excuse me in my noobness but would a TD outright lie????? Isn't this why their called TD cause we trust them????
-
I kinda see what you guys are talking about with the AR. The 42mm as less glare
-
Easy there Rollie
-
Is there a huge difference in the 42 and 45mm cause I don't see it??

@fitmic....reference my comment Whats GEN PO? I was being sarcastic meaning that the rep is soooo incredibly good that who would care to know about a GEN PO let alone purchase one.
-
So any truth to it that the 42mm AR is better than the 45mm AR?
-
Point well taken vandal and devas....the ledge comment very funny :Dand my earlier comments was just poking fun at myself and others...I'm the most OCD out there but been wanting a PO for sooo long but was waiting on the ceramic bezel. Now let's get this watch!
-
BTW the liquid metal logo can be brushed off with stainless steel buffing pads bought on ebay for about $10. These pads are used to remove scratches from brushed stainless steel watches.
