  1. haha! Sorry and thanks for the warning. I'll figure out how to become a supporting member. Can you please PM me the code so I don't have to rewrite it?
  2. Haha! So no-one dared call him out to his face, but we'll never know if they did behind his back. Though it's doubtful with the high level of quality I'm seeing on some of the submariner's on this forum. You have to be really well versed in them to catch a rep sub
  3. I got the Photoshop help, but how do I change the title to an original thread I started. I see others do it when the sell an item and switch the title showing SOLD.
  4. Topic Nuked by Double T... The Nukanator...
  5. What great stories!Especially this one, to me. It must have been very cathartic personally rebuilding your fathers watch. You did a great job too. It looks stunning!
  6. Haaha! I am considering getting my arms WAXED after seeing my first wristshot of my own arm. What a gorilla!!
  7. Hey, how do you guys change the title of a thread you started. I can't seem to find how. Also, I have a fun, quick Photoshop request and wonder if anyone here can do it? Send me a PM
  8. Some good conversation going on. And some good stories too! There are more out there... don't be shy.
  9. +1 Sticky Very nice job Pete. Thanks! U-Rawk! PS Sometimes it seems like this forum should be called RPG with all the PAM discussions I see. I'm glad though, because I'm finding out about a kewl watch.
  10. More interesting (for this thread) are the stories of getting called out, than what you would not be called out. Believe me, you were probably called out many times in private if you were reps. People with money, not even rich, just collectors and such, do pay attention to detail. I personally appreciate the finer details and usability of a Montblanc pen, a nice sports car, or a great quality bicycle for that matter. Heck, I collect rare custom made flashlights! You don't have to know reps to call one out, you just have to have an intimate love for the collectables you covet. I really love my GEN DateJust. I've worn it every day for the last 18-years or so and appreciate it every time I put it on. I appreciate the worn out gold links and the solid feel and the reliability, not to mention the beauty. But I digress... I'm just curious about stories of people who got called out. It's a fun topic. What did they say when called out? Did they try to maintain that it is real or did they come clean and say so what or ...
  11. Didn't realize the dang thing stopped overnight. -just one day without wearing it.
  12. Thanks for sharing Freddy
  13. Haa! LOL The reverse call out!! Love it. What the hell does PAM represent? Panerai, but why PAM?
  14. Great info for this n00b. Thanks guys!
  15. Thing go BUMP in the night. Only two votes? How come no love on the VCO poll?
  16. Ehehe! The Cromag name is actually a play on my heritage. My cousin is in Zadar. I look forward to some creme snite, sladoled, lignje, and the best home made wine! And listen to a little Klapa Fortunal with my cousin. Things slow down in September. I just need to talk my wife into coming
  17. Every few years bratic, but i'm up by Novi, close to Krk.
  18. I'm hoping to visit Makarska in September
  19. Great list! Thanks Sardonix! Trying to put it in perspective, I think they have not gone up without good reasons. For instance the date just has new bracelet with solid gold, instead of hollow gold, links. I think with the internet and globalization, the rep market has grown so they have had to keep adding lots of features to deter copying. Not to mention the price of precious metals or commodities and the FOREX exchange rates. YMMV
  20. There are more flaws on my smudged laptop screen than on those babe photos! Who is the first one?
  21. I'm a fan of White Collar. Looking forward to the new season this summer!
  22. We may never get a story of getting called out, unless maybe by a friend who called BS on a watch you wore. Over the years I have noticed quite a few rep Rolex watches on people, but I was not going to be impolite and call out a stranger. Some of them were very good and had me staring, but all I did was tell my wife with a chuckle. So I guess you probably would never know when you got called out because it wasn't to your face, but hopefully was by total strangers.
  23. Have you ever been called out while wearing your rep? I'd love to hear some of the stories. Please share
