Some of these sites will still send you a watch. Usually a quartz crap version. Also keep in mind they are on national holiday at this time so expect delay.

Scam. Puretime.co is Angus' site You need to read the forums and stick with Trusted Dealers only

@Woof the bracelet makes all the difference IMO -try that 3717 with one and I bet it will feel and look better on the skinny

Very informative. Thanks for posting that info on vintage Rolex authenticity issues. Yes, factory would be great.

I figured it was gen. My rep DW sux balls after looking at yours. I need to ask vac if he can mod it to look like yours. If it fits, I think a tan Big Pilot strap with the two rivets would look even better on yours. Cheers
-
That DW looks great on the 3717. Is it a mod or gen or?

Maybe you could gave surmised that wives are nosy and gossipy. LOL Or women even.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Newest v5 got it from forum member 42mm Diameter 14mm Thickness 20mm wide bracelet at lugs Bezel and markers align perfectly! Very nice lume too!

He needs a shot on a skinny wrist. OP try checking the Skinny Wrist Club threads I started here as well as RepGeek and RWI which have a lot more wristshots and data of watches on skinny wrists

LOL, ..."illiterate baboon with a crippled left brain" is pretty funny but it's not often ones sees or hears people use those expensive six syllable words and referring to areas like the abyssopelagic zone of the Marianas Trench. A spot on choice in this instance though.
-
That was fast! So are the vacuumed etc and ready to be shipped? I have one with bracelet inbound from Rochest. Well, awaiting QC pics. I'm hoping I don't get the 'out of stock' email since he said he had them available.

Traveling to Calgary this week I decided to stop in at the local AD to get a first hand look at the IWC Mark XVII. First of all the watch is a beauty and I really like it a lot as the 41mm size does fit nicely on my 6.4" wrist -especially with the bracelet. The high contrast dial is super easy to read which makes the IWC Pilot watches so distinctive among all other watches out there. Here's a pic; Unfortunately the 12 o'clock marker on this particular GEN was misaligned. More noticeable in person. I'm still shocked, as I was expecting perfection from a Swiss Made watch, -especially one from Switzerland. Fear not my rep friends. Getting called out is practically impossible with poor QC of some IWC watches. I noticed the second-hand on the 3878 was also slightly misaligned. Can hardly wait for Angus to get the next version XVII at PT. hopefully with bracelet. THAT is a must-buy rep for me

I emailed him a couple weeks back. Wait was about 10 weeks or more for a modded Vac

I was with a buddy getting his new 42mm Omega Planet Ocean sized at my local jeweler. His wrists are just a tiny bit smaller than my 6.5" wrist. It almost didn't fit because we ran out of links to remove! It fits bit loose on his wrist but he likes it that way, and I think it looks good a little loose. I heard that 7" (17.75cm) is about average wrist size for a man. In an effort to help our community I think we should have a Skinny Wrist Club thread, where we post ongoing wristshots of our watches on our skinny wrists. This data can help our skinny purchasing decisions. Show us your old models and newest models. Sure you can post a large PAM, or DSSD, on a 6.25" wrist. That would be great to see! It may not be acceptable to some, but others may find it just right. Here is the criteria I would like to try to follow; Let's see wrist shots of watches if your wrists are 6.5" (16.5cm) or less. Please post your pics with the following; Brand/Model Diameter/Thickness Your wrist size (daily wrist sizes change slightly so try to measure for the picture you post) Add any other info you want to share. Cheers!

Welcome @Boylah Not sure how you get a full email box at gmail but maybe you meant PM. Try him at Vac Lume vaclume@gmail.com I'm not sure on the specifics of all that he does. Maybe someone else will chime on that for ya.

Should read, "I think I've seen this version before. Looks like the one in that review where the guy had a gen and took lots of pics. If it is the one from the link above with all the pics, then it is not as nice as the one I got. JMHO"

I think I've seen this version before. Looks like the one in that review where the guy had a gen and took lots of pics. If it is the one from the link Wittgenstein all the pics, the it is not as nice as the one I got. JMHO Tho neither are perfect. After wearing it for a while now I wish the hands had more contrast to tell time easier. Its a nice watch and wears well tho. I have gotten compliments on it too. The white Rolex Exlorer II has more contrast as does the IWC black pilot watches. Maybe I'll check out the black VCO next.

PT is a very good TD. I have bought from them and will use them again. Angus is a standup guy.
-
Who? Got link?
-
I just emailed with vac and he is at least 6-8 weeks out on the 3717
-
Sportin' the new VCO this morning.
-
Interesting honest perspective. Welcome aboard! Hope you stay a while.

Thanks for the link and info Tx. They do have a different vibe. That's a good way of saying it.
