  6. @freddy333 thanks for your quick response. i will fix the marker following your detailed discription. Glad to hear it not a very complicated operation, but still it's my first fix to a watch. Thanks again Carpe Diem Cats
  7. I just moticed that the luminous marker at the 9 o'clock position of my beloved Noob is getting loose. I have a gen Bergeon case back opener and some fine bergeon screwdrivers but that about all. Do a need a pair of good tweezers , a movement holder , rodic etc. to fix the job or will the bergeon tools do the job. I'm shaking like an old lady but i have some good wine and a few med's around so that problem can be fixed Carpe Diem Cats

  13. A longtime ago me and my friends all had nick names. One of my friends liked Italian food , women and even started to study the Italian language. Catsiatore ( if i write it well ) is the Italian word for hunter which is my last name in Dutch To keep it simple they called me Cats , so it has nothing to do with the animal Cape Diem Cats
  14. Leaving on a 2 weeks holiday within a few hours. It's near to the sea side so a lot of salty water. All my Rolies are waterisitant but i don't like it when the salty water stays on the watch the whole day without being able to clean it. That's why the always reliable Seiko must come with me. Carpe Diem Cats
  15. I agree fully with By-Tor. Why trying to gain a few dollars witrh such a great risk. Stick to Narikaa, PT and Eurotimez. Carpe Diem Cats
  16. First response of my friend and watchsmith is that after he saw some pictures it could be a genuine movement. I will be able to tell you if it's a genuine after he serviced it. Carpe Diem Cats
  17. Today i'm wearing the new kid on the block It will need some work but i already like the way it came out of the box. Only thing that sucks thats it's a real noisy movement. Carpe diem Cats
  18. As promised some pictures of the movement of the new kid on the block Again if i want to replace to movement of this noisy beast which one do i need ( provided that i can keep the hands of this movement ) Carpe Diem Cats
  19. I forgot to ask if i want to replace this movement which one should i look for. I don't want to have to buy new hands for it so they should fit. Thanks in advance. Carpe Diem Cats

  21. Just got my new 1680 RED in and noticed that the rotor is very loud and sometimes the whole watch is shaking on my wirst when the rotor turns Made a quick shot of the movement. I will shoot some new pictures tomorrow with decent light circumstances. Is this an easy fix or do i have a crapy movement in this watch ??. Engraving on the movement shows 2824-2 and an ETA stamp. Rotor has a ball bearing with 5 balls Carpe Diem Cats
