  1. This is really a beauty Think I'm falling in love with it. Cats
  2. At this time at night i normally don't wear underwear so i didn't have to change it. The defibrillator worked and I'm alive again.
  3. I have to admit that I'm ashamed that I didn't introduce myself properly. I live in Europe in a country famous for their wooden shoes. After buying a view rep's out side the EU I decided to see what I could find inside the EU. How I got to this site, which is coming a real addiction, I can't remember anymore but I certainly don't feel sorry for it. Hope to learn a lot and make some good friends with the same habit and addiction. Regard, Cats
  4. I can't tell you what your local customs or law systrem will bring you. Act dumb and count your losses. Buying rep's can be a risky business. You win some and loose some. regards, cats
  5. Stephane, I'm also in the EU a little bit north of you. Over here I think we have more trouble with Fedex at the moment. I agree that you have to make your arrangements up front and resending a package which was taken by the customs is a favor rather then a most. I'm curious how it goes on with your shipments from outside the EU. What I learned is that my name and address is on a list and the local customs inform all the couriers to intercept all packages which have my name and address on it. Regards, Cats
  6. I hope that the last one is at least a par 4. Nice discussion and as my pro teacher me : IT ARE NEVER THE ARROWS , IT'S ALWAYS THE INDIAN Regards, Cats During my sabbatical playing of 2,9 from the back tee's . Now after working for almost 6 years again struggling for 6 or 7 over . Same equipment so once again the INDIAN ISN'T FOCUSED ANYMORE
  7. In Holland it's illegal to buy, sell import or export rep's. When you own or wear a rep I don't know for sure what will happen ( must likely nothing ). The only exception that the customs make is when you enter the country coming back form a holiday or business trip. Then your allowed the "import" 3 rep watches, I have to find out if there is maximum value attached to that but who can determine the value of a rep. The only reason why they allow you to do this is that lots of people are buying watches in "normal" jewelry stores not knowing it's a rep. To my opinion this is bs. Everybody who buys a watch with a well known name on it for 50 euro's in a fancy store knows it's fake. When you get caught by the customs normally they ask you if you want to get rid of the watch voluntarily and then the case is closed. Unless you encounter an eager beaver who has to make a career like I did 6 weeks ago who will arrange a court order for you . Regards, Cats
  8. Could be the same problem that i had last week. My problem was that the dail plate came loose and wasn't in a centric position anymore. This caused frixion between the second hand and the dail. The dail has pins on the back to position it in the wright place, one was broken off. Regards, Cats
  9. Got it in yesterday and it was ??? An ETA. I'm not an expert but a friend of mine is it's an ETA with a Novodiac unbalance. Overall value for money Cheers, Cats
  10. Same problems with Fedex over here in Holland. The funiest thing is that Fexed has the most interceptions by customs. I don't know why but it's reality. In a view weeks i will have to face the judge and explain why i imported a copied watch. If you don't hear from me anymore for a long time then i will be on bread and water, at least that helps me lossing my weight after i stoped smoking. cheers, Cats
  11. Thanks for helping me out on this issue. I just visited a guy who is a real genious in watch repairing and making. The O-ring wasn't placed dorrectly in the case but after putting it in the right wat the problem was fixed. The lunette will be put in straight after i ordered the hand and the right crown. It was sold to me as a watch with Saphire Cristal with AR . Thee guy did the photography must have had bluee curtains in the backround but there is curtainly no AR neighter on the front or the back. After having a few drinks a left to go home, leaving his house i dropped my PAM036 witch stopped thicking at once. The axe or pin of the unbalance most likely is broken so he will be off for a short vacation. It's a china copy of the 6497 so if some one can help me out feel free to contact me. Thanks again, Cheers, Cats
  12. Thanks for the response. Tomorrow i will go to a friend of mine who can open the case and see if we can fix the problem. Cheers, Cats
  13. Yesterday I got my new 127 delivered at home. Full of adrenaline I opened the package ( thought I would get it in a wooden display box instead of a plastic bag , but that might be a new subject of discussion) I saw that the lunette and crown weren't positioned flat in the case. The lunette is pressed in I assume but the case back in screwed in. A friend of mine is a very good watchmaker so he might help me out but he doesn't have a lot experience with PAM. I think the lunette can be pressed in further but I'm afraid that the threat in the case back is damaged. We are talking about 0,3 mm max. ( as shown in the picture of the case back). Yesterday a member told me that it should be in straight but the cause of the problem could be the O ring. Just simply unscrew it and screw it back in again could be the solution. What should I do let I get fixed by my friend or return it to the seller ??. Thanks, Cats
  14. Rolli, absolutely impressive. I think al lot of us still have a long way to go. What happened to your PAM183 with the super modified lugs. I'm still trying to find a watch smith who can make them.
  15. thnaks for your reply. We are talking about the same guy. I'l will be a lot confident dealing with him Regards, Cats
  16. Ok but can i buy these PAM 127 with the new swan neck movements within the EU. The guys at the border know my name and adress so that a problem. Buy the way the guy who is offering me this watch is within the EU. Regards, Cats
  17. Thanks guys for the quick response. So if i'm right it's most likely a Chinese copy of an ETA movement. If i'm able to buy this for 250 US is it a rip off or a good price regards, Cats
  18. Can anybody help me as a newbie. Is this a chinese movement or is this a ETA6497 ?. I'm considering to buy a PAM127 with this movement. The seller says it's an ETA Regards, Cats
  19. Rolli, looks great i hope one day i will be able to assemble such a great PAM183. Could you tell me more about the lug modification.
  20. Stef, I use a PAM 036 , with a black dial and not a brown like the gen has, on a daily bases. If I had to make a choice between the 2 watches , the way and frequency that I'm going to use to watch would be the key factor. The titanium case looks the best but the material is softer and it scratches easily. So if you want use it on a daily bases take the 111H otherwise go for the 177H I hope this makes your decision easier.
  21. Thanks i never thought of that. In the meantime i got a mail from KingWatches that they found 4 screws which they are going to airmail to me. Super Service of KingWatch
  22. Can anybody help me finding a supplier for the little srews in the back of the PAM 183 which hold the pins for the strap. I tried King Watches but they can only help by offering me the total case.
