  1. Wearing the 1680 relumed by FXRAndy for the rest of ......... ( i think until my 16710 arrives back home from Domi ) shot were taken in the evening after a few bottles of good red wine and a beautiful yellow sunset . Have a nice day. Cats
  2. @ PeteM what i was trying to say is that the with the AR the black dial gets a ultra dark brownish hue. The crystal it self gives a yellow/brownish hue. I don't think that Finepics DD changed the AR proces. The dial is indeed an older DSN dial with a Flav Flavour lume. The crystal is a DSN one , i don't which version but it is from the same time frame as the dial. Thanks for all the positive remarks on my PAM 111H ( orginaly built by T , to former Tourby on this forum ) Carpe Diem Cats
  3. It's 1680 time today. This one just came back from Andy Have a nice day Cats
  4. @ Andy, yes i do like it a lot and it was what i expected. The lume is nice creamy and has some miniscule brown stains in it. I'll my best to shoot some better pictures this weekend in order to show your great work better. Here is another quick wrist shot. Have a nice day Cats
  5. Thanks for the explanation Marty. My SUB already has a gen insert and what you described about the crystal is what i thought it would be. BTW the crown on my MBW crystal is also hardly visible but the clarity and sharpness of a gen crystal makes the difference for my situation i think. I'll we have to wait a little time until my GMT gets back from Domi with a gen crown and tube installed and start saving money in the mean time. Carpe Diem Cats

  7. That's a nice one Marty . What your opinion on the gen crystal ?? Does it give the watch the extra gennish look like a gen plastic crystal does on a more vintage model. Please don't tell me it does cuase i can't explain another 200 euro's spent on my SUB to my wife. Carpe Diem Cats

  11. I've been trying to photograph the single sided AR job done by Caruwe for some time now. This morning a certain light gave almost the correct impression of the AR and it's beauty ( in real life the dial get's a slight brownish hue which i can't capture untill now ) This are 2 of some more shots that i made What your opinion on the AR job ?? Carpe Diem Cats

  23. @KBH first you don't know what the buyer paid for the dial and hands so your remarks are based upon assumptions. I took a look at the sales section of the trusted dealer and could find a lot regarding TimeShop. http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/attempted-purchase-story-so-far-56204.html Only one post with a funny/tricky story about a crashing side etc. But this is a free world/forum and you are entitled to your opinion , if you don't mind a disagree with you. 24. Guys, indeed the market makes it's own prices. And a price in a sales post isn't always the same price as it's sold for. Just took a quick look at a post on RWI from member jll3 who bought the glorious Noob mariner from Timeshop This is the link to the post: http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/does-swiss-made-look-right-56210.html Let the words and especially the picture tell the rest of the story of this glorious exceptional Noob mariner Like a wise man once said: " all animals are equal but some animals are more equal then others " Carpe Diem Cats
